Great little lens "tool" that everyone should have!!
Color: 46 to 49 mm Step Up Ring Adapter | Verified Purchase
I have never in my 40+ years behind many film/digital cameras and with just as many lenses, required the use of a step UP/Down filter adapter till now. I just picked up an Olympus camera and a 17mm lens that has a 46mm filter size - How strange! This adapter solves the problem of how to use my K&F Concept square filter holder and it included 49mm filter size adapter with this new lens with ease!! No problems at all, just waiting patiently for its arrival a few days in advance!!

Works perfectly but beware of wrong sizes ...

This product was exactly as advertised but the problem with many step up rings seems to be that they put the wrong size in the box. This happened to me and many other consumers, it seems. The best solution, if you really need this item for a time sensitive shoot is to order a few different ones simultaneously from Amazon and return the ones that are extra. Shame that Amazon doesn't do any quality checking on products they sell!

Handy when your camera takes oddball sized filters

Bought this because I had many 58MM filters for another camera and I had just picked up a classic camera that takes what seems to be an oddball 55MM filter. Since I'm not finding many 55mm filters yet, I picked this up. It feels quite solid as expected, though it does interfere with the lens hood on one of my lenses, which is part of the lens itself. (watch out for that.)

A great and effective cost saver

Great solution to budget problem... buy one ND filer for a 58mm lens and use this low cost adapter to use same ND filter on 52mm lens.

Works to attach a panoramic attachment to my camera lens.

Does the job!
Color: 55 to 77mm Step Up Ring Adapter | Verified Purchase
It does exactly what I needed it to, adapt from 55mm to 77mm. Appears to made of steel, or aluminum. Black in color. I’m happy

Spend the extra dime
Color: 52 to 82mm Step Up Ring Adapter | Verified Purchase
This thing is leagues above the other step up rings, and they never get jammed or stuck. I cant tell you how much time i've wasted getting cheap step up filters stuck to my lenses or each other. These copper rings are pricy but you won't ever run into issues and plus they look and feel really high quality.

Decent Quality

This makes it so I can use the filter I purchased on a couple of different lenses. So far it seems to work as advertised.

Works As Advertised

Product works as advertised, price is great, and it arrived quickly. I highly recommend. It feels solid and robust so I don't expect to have to replace it. I used it to to fit my 58 mm Pro Mist Filter to a 46 mm lens. It's a great solution to buying more filters to fit different lenses as those can be quite expensive. I will definitely buy more in the future if I need different sizes to fit lenses.

Fit perfectly

Only used it a few times it fits and had no problem stacking filters. Happy I got it

Custom Questions & answers

Question:Is it anodized aluminum or brass?
Answer:aluminium alloy

Question:i have 3 lenses with size 86mm 82mm 77mm. Will this step up let me use 86mm ND filter on all 3 lenses?
Answer:The answer is no. I have the 72mm Starscape filter. That being said, the step up/down adaptor has to be bought for each different size lens. Since the filter is more expensive than the adaptors, you buy the filter for the biggest lens you have and then buy the adaptors to match your other lenses. In your case, if I understand it properly, if it were me, I would purchase the filter(s) for the largest, 86mm lens, then purchase a step-down adaptor for the 82mm and 77mm lenses. So, for the smaller lenses you would purchase a 86mm to 82mm adaptor, then a 86 mm to 77mm adaptor. Hope this helps.

Question:Tengo un objetivo de 77mm y un filtro ND fijo de 86mm, que adaptado necesito 77 a 86, por qué dice step down en el aviso?
Answer:SI este te funciona por que dice que las escala es de 77mm a 86mm

Question:I have a 77mm filter that I am looking to put on a 58mm lens. Will there be vignetting from the big size gap?
Answer:There should not be vignetting since you are placing a larger filter onto a smaller lens. At least, I did not notice vignetting with this setup on my Cannon lens.

Question:Are there bulk buy options available?
Answer:Only thru our website. For 10 or more kits.

Question:What pitch are the threads on the 95 and 86 mm sides?
Answer:Most modern lenses use the same pitch as do all of the filters. Industry standard is 0.75mm for filters from 37 to 82mm, so it covers any filter you're likely to encounter. Some older lenses use a .5 pitch such as the early Olympus lenses, Nikon1 camera lenses use a 40.5mm filter size but it has a 0.5mm pitch.

Question:I have a 77mm diameter lens and I'm needing to step down for a 58mm filter. Will there be vinetting?
Answer:Hi,you can buy this 77-58 step down ring.

Question:How many mm thick is the 82 to 62mm metal ring/82mm to 62mm step down rings filter adapter?
Answer:82 - 62 = 20mm. Or do you mean the total thickness of the step up ring?

Question:Are the threads long enough on the 52mm lens side to attach this to a nikon coolpix 600p? bought one whose threads are too shallow.
Answer:Yes.
