★★★★★ | Works perfectly - but consider getting the control ring version |

As expected, this works perfectly to adapt your Canon EF lenses for use on the EOS R. I initially go this one but returned it and went with the control ring adapter. This is essentially the same thing but without the control ring. I wanted the control ring because the RF lenses come with a control ring built in and I wanted to have a consistent user experience whether using RF lenses or EF ones with the adapter. If you don't want to or can't pay the difference, this works flawlessly. No decrease in focus speed or decrease in image quality. In fact, my EF lenses all perform better than ever using this adapter on the EOS R because the R's autofocus is more accurate than DSLRs. |

★★★★★ | EF Glass on Mirrorless Camera = Awesome |

Took forever to get but works like a champ on my R5! It is awesome that I can use Ef glass on my new mirror less lenses! Just have to sell another kidney to buy a RF lens! 😂😂😂 |

★★★★★ | No-brainer requirement for the Canon RP (to use your old Canon Lenses) |
Verified Purchase |
The recent deal from Canon throwing in the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R when purchasing the Canon RP was too good to pass up. This was my entry into the full-frame mirrorless world and with an accumulated set of fine EF and EF-S lenses, this was an opportunity to breathe new life into my photographing capabilities. The adapter is fantastic - in the sense that it does nothing other than pass everything from the lens to the sensor. Pictures are truly remarkable. Amateur that I am, I'm not even sure how much more I can improve upon the pictures even if I ended up getting the dedicated RF-mount lenses. If like me you have some lenses from the past that you splurged on and are contemplating getting the Canon R or RP, I doubt you will ever regret it. |

★★★★★ | Canon Branded Equipment Overflows with Quality |

Still waiting for camera & EF-L lens so I cannot speak to actual usage yet. However, just the packaging alone blew me away, the cardboard box was heavy, not cheap, then there was a pouch made of bubble wrap, then a plastic bag and ANOTHER plastic bag. Finally, the adapter was preserved in a very nice, heavy denier nylon pouch, Canon logo, with a soft inside. The unit has a serial # and there is a warranty card included, both ends have dust covers, the adapter itself has a plastic exterior. I'm amazed how much quality went into a simple $99 adapter. Glad I went with Canon over a 3rd party. |

★★★★★ | Amazing piece |

Fantastic product. Again - it's original Canon so - you get your quality. It's the cheapest adapter you can get for your RF mount camera. I have my EOS R. My biggest lens I use with this mount is Canon 17-40mm. It sits like glued. I had a 3rd party adapter and it was a bit flimsy. There was super tiny bit of movement after the lens was mounted. Not the case here. It's Canon, it's made to last. 99 dollars in camera world is NOTHING to have piece of mind. Great product. |

★★★★★ | Must-have lens adapter |

This adapter allows you to use Canon EF compatible lenses with EOS R and RP cameras. It's worked perfectly with every lens I've tried on the EOS RP that also worked on my old 7D, even Sigma and other third-party lenses. If you decide to try out the EOS R series of Canon full-frame cameras, it's well worth owning this adapter even if you don't already own any full-frame lenses. There's a huge catalog of existing Canon EF compatible lenses and they tend to be cheaper than the few native RP lenses available at the moment. Highly recommended. |

★★★★★ | Great for using EF lenses on EOS R cameras |

Came brand new. Works as hoped for when adapting EF lenses to the EOS R camera line. Brought to life the lenses that I had for my Canon 5D. What amazed me was the ability to use third party lenses like the Sigma Art lenses and obtaining tack sharp focus. The only drawback is there is a loss of focusing points when using the Sigma Art lenses, about 20%, but that's not a major problem since most of the shots taken are in that 80% box. When using continuous focus there is an audible sound of the EF lens focusing, which is expected. |

★★★★★ | Works, but not easy change |

I just jumped into the mirrorless camera game, and wanted to be able to use my DSLR collection - particularly my primes. This did the trick, but it's a little hard to twist on and off.
Tried it with my 50-1.8, and my 75-300, and both worked flawlessly on the new camera. Extra points for it being made of metal and not plastic. It should last. |

★★★★★ | Does what it is supposed to. |

It was just fine adopting 70-300 IS USM EF lens to my EOS RP. Autofocus functions as expected. The only thing is the lens makes that strange noise while focusing (or maybe it is stabilizer?) that I don't think it made when it was used on Rebel XT body. But everything works fine and I no longer have Rebel XT to compare. |

★★★★★ | Don't get this from Woodland Hill Camera |

I returned this to Woodland Hill Camera and they charged me a hefty $36.80 restocking fee. Otherwise the Mount Adapter was fine, just wanted the control ring version. |
