- Using American Wire Gauge (AWG) standards, the gauge of stranded wire is determined by the total area of the conductor.
- To calculate this you would take the area of each strand and add it together. This area, in square mm, then determines gauge.
- Diameter is not as critical with stranded wire, this is due to the tiny air gaps between each strand. Diameter may fluctuate with strand size and how tightly wound the rope of the cable is.
- The smaller the number, the larger the wire, until you reach zero or aught (0). From zero, you then have double aught (00), three aught (000) and so on.
- Based on AWG, Kolossus Kable is slightly larger than traditional 4 gauge

I use to believe that power wire was power wire no matter the rating but I was wrong!!! OFC what a difference!! You pay for what you get especially with feeding your power hungry amplifiers. If your amp keeps cutting out, shutting off, clipping and you can’t wrap your brain around why?!?!? I can guarantee you 9/10 times it’s your GROUND! I’m running an old school JL Audio 1000/1 V1 the original BAWS amplifier and 3 JL W612v2’s, epicenter, all alpine components, eq, Sound processor, and head unit. I did a complete overhaul of my wiring with all OFC, even did the big 3 upgrade with OFC cables and wires and OMG!! My sound system sounds as it should, my amp stays on when hitting those bass notes lower than 35hz the highs are crisp and clear, no muddiness, I can crank it as loud as my ears can handle with everything sounding and working in union! OFC FTW!

I run a Rockford power bd 1000 with this kit, I didn't need the remote wire that is built into the rc cables. I did use the cables because mine where way to long, they work fine but the cables and remote wire are of cheap quality, i like the fuse block, really wish it had a few more 4 gauge butt connectors. But the reason i paid for this kit was really the power and ground wires, and add i expected they did not disappoint. This oxygen free copper wire is true four gauge and is the nicest wire I've ever used, very sturdy but extremely flexible with nice soft manageable feel. Handles the heat from my high performance engine with ease, i did like the black and red wire ends it came with for speaker wire and the main wires also, nice touch. It's a well put together kit ,all of its pieces work satisfactorily, but the star of the show the main wires really brings its a game, and i would have paid that price for them wires only, everything else is just Pro bono to me. If you have any complaints because you didn't like something about the window dressing it comes with i would suggest trying to find an equal quality set of true gauge power and ground (same length) alone for less money. I recommend to anyone who wants top quality wire powering there amp. The equipment you run isn't cheap, don't go cheap supplying it with power.

The quality of every item in the kit is top notch. The power and ground are true 4 gauge OFC, flexible and lay down well. The RCA's are beefy enough, as is the speaker and turn on wiring. I can't speak for the terminals (I have my own I use), but they look like they would get the job done well. Compared to some cheap 1/0 CCA cable, my headlamps stopped dimming and the sound seemed to improve. Don't cheap out when it comes to your power cable!

The best out there
Once I got my package it surprised me the high quality of the materials and the thickness, they sure are a better choice to much more cables from several brands out there. After looking for the right ones this are the only ones that make a difference and it won't disappoint you or your amps, been using them on a power bass worth 3000 watts of power pushing a 15 inch 3000 watt sub and had no issues from lacking of power to the amp getting hot or the cable melting (wich I have had some cables melted before) overall the best quality I've seen it comes from knukoncepz. You won't be disappointed when you buy this package but beware the rca cables come with the remote cable fsticked together and the quality for this is not the best, they do the job but it should be better at the same high quality of the power cables. Been using them for more than a year and had no issues not even with the fuse. If I need to buy another set it sure will be this one or any OFC from Knukoncepz. You can't go wrong there.

Used this kit to wire a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime amp with a JL 10W3V3-2 sub. HU is a Pioneer AVH X2700BS. This kit did everything perfectly. Wired into a 2007 Honda Ridgeline.
Power cable is gorgeous - Ultra flexible and TONS of individual strands. The amp issetup to accept 4awg cable into it's power and ground terminals and these knukonceptx cable barely fit. Had about 4 feet left, wiring the amp under the back seat.
Terminal hardware is large and solid. Great stuff.
RCA cables are perfect for my application (im not an RCA cable expert). Also, the remote turn-on wire is connected to the RCAs which was great for keeping them organized.
Fuse holder works perfectly. Since the kit comes with a large fuse I had to purchase a smaller 50amp fuse for my specific amp.
Wire flume is totally fine. I prefer the woven stuff but I still used this stuff in my engine compartment or at areas where the cabling rubbed against a hard surface.
Just all-around awesome stuff. Also bought some 1/0 guage wire to replace my battery ground cables.
Note: get some dielectric silicon grease and use it. Just do it.

Awesome kit
Can't believe how nice this kit is for the price. Wish the cable length was a bit longer, an extra few feet would be really nice. Bought it for a Jeep wrangler and even though it a small vehicle, I still could have used another foot. However the quality of the wire and accessories would cost a lot more to piece together. Highly recommend this kit if you are considering a cheapo CCA wire $20 kit. Spend the extra cash, you wont regret it.

Great price for it being oxygen free copper. Very flexible too, and heavy. I used my 4ga kit for the first time about to install a subwoofer on my Chevy truck. The fuse is small enough to stay out of sight, and the terminals fit just right. I will definitely buy again, and Amazon prime did a great job delivering promptly. After two years, the wires are still doing their job conducting electricity. The only item I didn't use was the rca cable. I used the factory radio and the amplifier I have can tap directly into the factory system. The rca cable seems to have a third wire that might be used for the remote turn-on, but it looks to be very thin. Obviously you just need a signal to turn an amplifier on, so it might be enough to do the job, but I have t used it yet; its in a box in the garage. Can't wait till my next project!

It is one set of RCA cables. A left and a right channel. If you need more channels you will need either more cables or some RCA splitters.

can some one tell me the length of the power wire?

20 Feet. I have a F150 Supercab. Power wire reached from engine bay down one side of the cabin and opposite side for my rear seats. After hiding it and everything installed I still had plenty of wire. RCA hookup could have used an extra bit of length.
