Build quality is great, seems very well shielded, can't detect any added noise in my setup.
The big blue box store charges $20 for a garbage 15' cable. Not kidding - they have one that's over $200. (I promise, as an electrical engineer, you won't hear a difference for all the cable claims to do)
This is a no-nonsense solution that's shielded enough to reject normal EMI, and built well enough that it will last for a long time. The gold plated contacts are a nice touch at this price. If your sub is right next to your amp just use the junk cables that came with that VCR you bought in 1996, you won't hear a difference. For a run over 30', you do want something with low impedance and high shielding - and this gets the job done great without breaking the bank. |

I bought a longer cable, since the price was affordable, didn't really need the length, but it's a good thing to have just in case. It has been working very good, wouldn't really know why people would go and buy more expensive cables. The built is good and, if you are using it for your home entertainment equipment, it will stay hidden for the most part of its life. Definitely a great product from Amazon. Don't waste your money elsewhere. |

While these may not be the first choice of some snobby "audiophiles", they are decent quality and don't affect the sound in any negative way that I can hear. I had a junk one from a Sony box store 5.1 theater system sub that was kicking around for a few years just to get my system connected and I knew I would want a better cable for future use. I did some comparison shopping and found them anywhere from 3.99 for one like I had up to over a hundred bucks. I read some reviews and ordered one from another seller for around $25 but when I connected it I got a loud humming so I took it off and when I pulled the first connector off, the shielding around the center wire was frayed and had been accidently soldered to the crimped part that holds the center electrode wire causing a fault. I couldn't really fix it well enough to trust it with the amount of vibration that my subs generate. The seller offered to take it back and repair it but it wasn't even worth my time to repackage it and ship it back and then wait for it to come back repaired so I just purchased this one and it's a quality product far more well made than the Mediabridge one that I had fiddled with. It's working well in my car with 2 12" high quality subwoofers pounding away all the time I'm in the car. I did do a good job of securing it along with the factory wiring harness guides using tape and cable ties wherever possible along the channels and I did run it on the same door side as the power wire which is frowned upon because of "noise" but I have not experienced it. The coating on the 4ga power wire isn't very thick either so these must be well done because I do not hear the "noise" that this can cause. It sounds like the engine of the car running at a high pitch through the speakers whenever there's Pause in the sound. Sometimes it's bad enough that you can hear it anytime, even when there is other noise coming from the system which is quite annoying. Trust me you'd know right away on the first drive after the installation and you'd want it fixed. I will buy again if needed and would not even hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Except for the snobs that won't settle for anything less than whatever seriously expensive ones they get from one of these online stores that sell record players that cost $25,000 or more. They're inexpensive enough, go snag one or two up and you won't be disappointed as long as it's used properly. |

Arrived very quickly and I bought two even though I really only needed one. After some research and help from fellow buyers, I decided to bite the bullet and buy two. My set up was a Vizio 5.1 surround sound with a sound bar (3 speakers), a powered sub-woofer and two satellite speakers. The issue was one of my speaker leads where the male pun was, was broken off during multiple furniture moves, so no surround sound. At least not from that speaker. These looked well made and the price was right. Yes, it was a tight fit but fit they did. To both speakers and the powered sub-woofer. Then I re-paired the woofer with the front soundbar and checked it out. TV, audio CD and DVD movie all came through crystal clear and I have 5.1 surround sound again after 2.5 for several months. I highly recommended men's these speaker/sub-woofer leads if you want a good, crisp sound and your equipment needs upgrade. Highly recommended and well worth the price. Here's some pictures of my set up....hope it helps. |

★★★★★ | 50 Foot cable send audio signal to subwoofer through LFE with no interference or loss of signal |

I added a second sub to my home theater (A huge improvement in sound). I wanted a cable long enough to allow flexible placement of the sub. I was concerned about signal loss, or noise from a cable that is 50 feet long, but I have not encountered any issues. I'm very happy with this cable and the price. FYI, I am running this to a 300 Watt Polk Audio 12" Subwoofer through one of my Yamaha receiver's LFE channels. I hope this review helps you out. |

Excellent cable, AmazonBasics has it down. Recently upgraded my A/V receiver and sub for the home theater and simply needed a decent RCA cable to get the job done. Haven't had a single issue with AmazonBasics cables thus far, and this cable is no exception--well-made, great length, and a great price. But most importantly, the sub sounds amazing |

★★★★★ | It's a cable - plug in and you're done |

Bought to connect my amp to my sub-woofer. Plugged both ends in and the sub-woofer does it's thing. Does it have all the volume/frequency response it should with this cable? No clue. It just works well enough for my old ears and there is plenty of "rumble" if I crank up the volume. Cable itself is very flexible which was nice as I didn't have to leave it out in the sun for a day to try to get it to relax and lay flat between the amp and the woofer. (My HDMI cable is like that - coiled even when extended.) It does what I wanted for a reasonable price. |

★★★★★ | AmazonBasics RCA Audio Subwoofer Cable - 15 Feet |
Verified Purchase |
I had seen negative reviews but for the price and length it was what I needed. I saw a review indicating the connector broke or some such thing, no worries just unpack and give it a tug, pass. I saw negative reviews on shielding and this was the test as I would be using just about all the 15ft. So from my left (16ft wall) connect to a 2.1 Marantz NR1200 along the wall past 2 sets of speakers the cable box surge protector, Sony avr center speaker 2 more sets of speakers to the sub and have never experienced a hum or buzz. I do recommend this product and in fact purchased another. |

★★★★★ | Great over all! |

It's hard to write a glowing review for something as mundane as a sub cable but the quality is good and the sound is transmitted perfectly--as it was intended to. The cable is thick enough but very flexible. It's looks and feels like a good quality cable. I guess the question is why people really go ahead and spend more money when they can just buy something like this cable that it's going to end up doing the same job. |

★★★★★ | Great Cable - skip the expensive guys - this one works great! |

Don't buy expensive cables when these are an option. I replaced a $60 cable from the other guys. I don't see any difference between the expensive cable and this one. Works great - there is no distortion or popping. I am using it to run signal from my receiver to my sub woofer. |
