Great all-purpose RV power cable
The jacket can be easily scored and peeled with a utility knife. It's real tinned copper inside to conduct well and resist corrosion. The insulation is decently strong, flexible, and resists abrasion. The stranding is not too fine, which is good - you don't get loose strands when inserting to screw terminals or crimp connectors.
I'm using it in my RV for add-on circuits which run underneath, where they may be exposed to sunlight, oil, and water. Time will tell how well it holds up, but this cable is UL-listed to handle all of those.

Look no further, this is the cable for marine applications.
I bought the 100' reel of 16-2 for my boat's branch wiring and I find it to be of the highest quality compared to the original equipment, and its an absolute pleasure to work with. The conductors are fine and take solder or crimping beautifully, and the white jacket is upscale in appearance and clean and impressive, if you look in the wiring compartments. Very pleased overall and the 100' reel gave me good economy, better than I could find elsewhere. Look no further...

Nice wire for marine or rv use
This wire will be used both inside and outside my travel trailer to wire up some exterior speakers. The wire is well made and has the feel of nm cable, though a must smaller gauge than residential wiring. Pulling the wire through my trailer worked very well as the covering of this wire is smooth. I have roughly 33 ft of wiring for each speaker and they sound great.
The only thing I wish is that this wire had measurements printed on it, as I was pulling two runs I had to first approximate the length and then pull them together.

Very nice wire but expensive
This is high quality wire, that is actual copper with good sheving. This isn't the cheep CCA stuff this is the real deal, at the real size its supposed to be. I used most of a roll wiring in my truck camper to charge the battery from my truck. I have also used it on my trailer. The wires are well protested but still very flexible and manurable.
Buy the big roll - you will find more uses for this

Ran underneath through plastic electrical conduit- rigid-- then flexible to the brake assemblies- just returned to Oregon from A
Quality wire....used to rewire the brake system on my 38' 5th wheel rv ....removing the factory daisy-chain brake wire (14 gauge) with side having its own feeder. Ran underneath through plastic electrical conduit- rigid-- then flexible to the brake assemblies- just returned to Oregon
from Arizona- brakes worked beautifully...this is the best wire II have ever worked with....well worth the price...when you do a project..don't mickey mouse it- do it right!.... no tears ...rest easy....

Excellent Wire, I want more
This is the best wire I have ever used. I used it to wire a fuel pump switch, next I will be wiring 4 spotlights, and 8 flood lights to my pontoon upper and lower decks amongst other things. BTW I rolled it all out & measured it, there was 100FT. I see some say they got shorted, that's why I checked it. No shortage.
Great for using outdoors, or on a boat.

Best marine power cable out there!!!
Fantastic product! Used this to rewire our pontoon’s electrical system - the process was very straightforward.
Specifically, this wire can be ran very easily. The wire sheathing made snaking the cable through the boat largely painless. With both wires being in the same sheath, it provides just right amount of rigidity and flexibility to get through and into tight spots.
Very happy with the product and company - will 100% buy this again if I need to do more electrical marine work.

Worked great on my RV
I upgraded the wiring for the electric brakes on one side of my RV trailer from 16 ga. to 14 ga. Since the wiring is under the chassis and exposed to the weather and road dirt, I used this marine grade duplex wire to do it and it works fine. The only minor complaint is the wire colors are red and yellow. I would rather use the automotive standard red/black or even black/white, but it's not a big deal.

Can’t beat already coupled and wrapped wiring!
Hate I didn’t get these sooner. Wiring the electrics in my van was made simple with this product. I put connectors on both ends and all that was left was to connect, route and label. Until I purchased, I was working with single wire which doubled the labor time. I had to measure each wire, then wrap for safety and maneuvering.

Great wire!
I have been using spools of Ancor wire for many years in a saltwater marine environment. It is very easy to solder terminals to. It is also very flexible, which makes it easy to install. I have NEVER had an issue with the wire, even many years after the installation.
To the people who have complained about the spools of wire not being marked every foot.... 1) that would add to the cost of the wire. 2) Either learn some tricks on installing wire, or hire a professional to do the job. 3) buy a Sharpie, and make your own foot marks....
I used some of this spool to install 2 runs on each side of a boat trailer for stop/ taillights. (Because those "trailer wiring harnesses" suck for longevity) I have no idea how much wire was used, (since it has no "foot marks") but I do know the wire itself will never have an issue.
Question & Answer
Question :
How long is the spool of wire? What guage?
Answer :
Ancor Part Number is: 121710
Per their catalog this is 16 AWG, 2 Conductor wire
100' in length
Question :
What is total width of the 18/2 wire including sheath? I’m trying to decide what size conduit to get (and yes, I know I don’t need conduit.)
Answer :
1/2 inch Will be fine, but use a size larger because you'll always want to run something else later.
Question :
i need a wire to run a 24 volt 70 trust trolling motor about 25' what is the best wire?
Answer :
You can calculate the wire size, if you have the volts (24v), load (in Amps) and the conductor length (in your case it looks like a round trip of 50'). You can do this on-line at http://circuitwizard.bluesea.com/. You motor has 70lbs of thrust? No direct way to convert it to Amps, so I hope it rated in the manual. The longer the run, the thicker the wire.
Question :
Can this wire be use to install lights on a commercial trailer?
Answer :
Yes
Question :
can red & black wires be easily separated?
Answer :
Yes,I ran the red pos. post on my battery and the black to my neg. post. No problem.
Question :
Is this ofc or cca?
Answer :
It says "tinned copper" and I couldn't figure out.
Their audio cable is actually labeled as OFC, so this one is maybe not? I'm not sure. Give them a call.
Question :
What is the thickness of the outer casing for the 10awg flat cable? i only see 2x1mm for the 16 awg
Answer :
Can't tell you exact thickness, but it is double insulated, the wire itself than both wire are put in another casing. I am pleased with it.
Question :
For automotive application, can this wire be run without placing in an additional conduit such as split loom or other? Picture shows "Grade 2 conduit"
Answer :
Will it rub against anything? If yes, then put something to prevent the casing from wearing through. Most wires in a vehicle are not in a split loom, unless they can rub against something.
Question :
Is this item ul listed
Answer :
Yes
Question :
Hello How much of this wire carrying amp
Answer :
Normal rated capacity for 12 ga. wire is 20 amps, and for 14 ga. is 15 amps. This leaves a good safety margin.
