After having this I can say that it's good but not great. The antenna's isn't good. I'm using this to record and I have to use foil to get a clear SOUND!! I mean I'm using this in my house! It shouldn't sound like this at all. I really feel bad for giving it a better review the first time and to be misslead anyone wanting to buy this product. But I guess you get what you pay for. Just one more thing. I bought different cord's and even moved it closer and away from the source. Spending more money on this isn't worth the trouble.

You can communicate with others who can have their FM radio in their room, office, basement or other floor, even next door or in their vehicle for about 1000 meters.
We use ours to share church services and preaching to people sitting in their cars or in their home in the community.
People are safe from Covid in their own vehicle.

This device has two power levels of 0.1 and 0.5W. The 0.1W power complies with the provisions of Part 15. You can broadcast as much as you want. If you want more powerful broadcast power (0.5W), you need to determine whether your broadcast will If it interferes with other surrounding signals, you can use it without interference. If your broadcast footprint interferes with commercial stations, it is not wise; they may contact the FCC to take enforcement action against your transmitter.

As far as we have tested it in the services in the Church parking lot ... more than 800 meters (0.5 MILE) in a round with a very clear signal. It may go even further but we haven't tested it.

Answer :
we use this for our church for the hearing impaired. This is feed from our wireless mics via an amplifier and the sound quality is very good. We are not using expensive equipment. We have 6 wireless mics, one with the guitar and the sound is good enough to feed our Google Meet via the laptop using an inexpensive FM receiver. I know that didn't necessarily answer your question but I not sure it matter a great deal. We do get a bit of a hum on one of our wireless mic receivers when this unit is on but it's nothing significant. Blessings JK

What is the factory-set power level, and is it clear how one changes power level setting?
Answer :
The FM transmitter has two control knobs. When the marker on the knob is at 12:00 o’clock. They are at factory settings. One controls the microphone volume, the other the FM transmission control. Turn down to reduce static, Turn clockwise to increase volume. It is a great unit. Very reliable and easy to use.
