This case (my second Badlands) enhances the stalking experience like no other in the outdoors

I had the Badlands for my Canon 10x30s. Could not find an answer to whether my new 18x50s would fit the X case. Had to buy it to see. And, yes, they work perfectly. I did like the smaller Badlands case for its pockets to hold maps, a small snack, the round for my rifle chamber and various other comfort and survival items. This one has only a small pocket inside with lens cloth and a larger pocket for a map (and, yes, snack). But great camouflage pattern, terrific shoulder straps (I've seen daypacks that weren't as well strapped), and a quieter, two-fold magnetic cover. If your binos don't fit this baby, you need a backpack for them. This design allows you to operate the cover with one hand while stalking (and the Canon binos function one-handed as well). Something about that cover design is extra special, too. I always got snow in my bino eyepieces with zippers, buttons, caps, and pouch-style carriers. In years of using this Badlands design, snow never seems to make it into the case. That's huge. For me, the hunt is far more important than a kill and something I can do in the off-season for the pure joy of stalking. This case enhances that experience to the max.

Great for Porro Prism bino's
Color: Approach FX | Verified Purchase
I ordered this bino harness because the first Vortex one I ordered was way too small to fit my Nikon Aculon Porro Prism 10x42 bino's which are huge and have a 7-inch wingspan(my fault for being naive, not smashing the Vortex bino harness', they are great for Roof Prism bino's). They fit perfectly with plenty of wiggle room for larger pairs. I do think that would translate to a lot of rattling around for a smaller pair like Roof Prism and you can get a smaller harness that fits Roof Prism bino's for much cheaper like those Vortex ones. I did note that my bino's are heavy enough to open the magnetic clasp with their weight alone if laid face down and picked up, so I will be using the harness system to secure them in for accidental falls or to prevent them from bouncing up and out of the pouch say if I had to sprint for my life or something. Other than that looks like a well made and comfortable harness ESPECIALLY for bigger bino's like Porro Prism's, albeit a bit pricey. I recommend this harness if you have multiple pairs of bino's in both Roof Prism and Porro Prism as the one harness can accommodate both styles, for those looking to hunt Western Big Game to Eastern Whitetails this'll do ya. I did notice the lack of extra pockets outside the main pouch, it does have some Molle style webbing on the side you could stash some extra rounds in, a pen, or maybe a chapstick, but one cool thing is the microfiber cloth thats attached to the inside of the main pouch inside a little cargo net on the side which can come in handy in a pinch. A bit expensive for the lack of other features but if minimalism and function are all you need this harness hits the nail on the head. I'll update review as needed after some field testing.

Will hold 10x50 Porro Prism Glass(tight but they fit)
Color: Approach | Verified Purchase
Finally decided to treat myself to a bino case and chose this after looking in the stores. The quality and fit of this is very good but that has been described in numerous reviews. What I want to add is that they will fit a 10x50 porro prism. Every review I saw dealt with roof prism models which are considerable sleeker. If you have porro prisms hopefully this info will help. The 10x50 is tight but it will fit. A 8x42 porro prism has more than enough room for the binoculars and at least some food or whatever, The 10x50s are mainly for scouting and just watching so I don't mind the tight fit and the noise and movement required to get them out. If you care both binos discussed are Orions. Don't recall the model.

Focus in on these BINO cases

I have a buddy that loved my Realtree Badlands bino case so much I gave it to him, which allowed me to get this new pattern which I really like (matches better to Total Terrain camo).
This case is just a real must have when you're out there. It's comfortable and straps perfectly to your chest, the magnetic quiet opening buttons are great, it's literally silent when you're in a blind, etc.
The case is big enough, with room to spare, for my Nikon Monarch 12 x 40's, and it also holds my range finder in it as well. Well made and a nice additional feature is the lens cleaning cloth they have built in.
I customized mine a bit and used some of those smallest size nite-eez hooks instead of the split rings, then I got those polymer inserts that go inside the binocular mounts so the hooks just clip right onto those. easier to remove the bino's then trying to fidget with split rings. Works great!

Quality Case...

Awesome product, very comfortable (weight distribution was awesome) that there were times during the hike I didn’t even notice it on. Quality case, doesn’t flop about, and very easy access to the bino when needed. Don’t even know why I was without it all these years....

Excellent Case!

The case securely holds my pulsar thermal monocular and rangefinder plus cleaners and licenses. The silent opening, one handed cover is awesome. The straps fit comfortably and hold case well. I have not used the hydration option yet. Case is held out of the way and does not interfere with any arm movements. It is an excellent piece of kit. If you need a dedicated optic bag, don’t hesitate.

Quality material, hands free, although the bag is a little too large for my needs, not being able to physically look at bag 1st worked against my judgement.
