Bluetooth receiver for Smart devices

This device is very useful especially if you have an older car that doesn’t have Bluetooth connection. I tried this on my 2009 Chrysler and it worked perfectly. The device is very small and it doesn’t take too much space. You just need to connect the device to the AUX, and it will play music instantly, or you can take calls, and it even worked for Siri or Google assistant. I enclosed pictures of the product, what it comes with, and how the device looks like. The battery is also very durable. I used it now for 2 days and I didn’t have to charge it yet.

Awesome little device

I got this back in December 2021 but with the Holiday season didn't have time to mess with it, when I did however, I was wonderfully surprised with the difference in how the music sounded in my car, the sound is clear and crisp and you get more of a base sound effect which is awesome. It's really easy to pair with your phone or tablet. The battery life seems to hold for quite a while, and I like that it has that short sturdy AUX attachment so it doesn't hang suspended. Love it. You can use it to recieve or make hands free phone calls in your car, and there is also a plus button to turn the volume up or to go to the next song if you're listening to music, also you can use the minus sign to go to the previous song or turn the volume down. You can also pause or play your music using the center button which is also used to turn the device on or off.

Simple and works

I own a 2007 Honda Civic, which means that my car doesn't have any built-in Bluetooth capabilities. So in order to listen to music or directions over the stereo system (assuming the phone doesn't have a headphone jack), I need a Bluetooth Aux receiver. The last one I bought was quirky and didn't work half the time; and I was a little nervous about buying another "off-brand" model. But this BT receiver has worked very well; it announces when it's connected, has never not connected, and stays connected. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of more expensive receivers, and has to be manually started by pressing a button. But it does what I need it to do, and I'm quite happy with it.

Works great and so easy to use

This is a great little Bluetooth receiver- it plugs into the 3.5 mm aux port on your car or home audio system and then you link your phone to it. It plays through the speakers of your car or stereo whatever it connects to. One of our cars doesn't have Bluetooth capacity so this works great! It is easy to use and pairs quickly. It even works while it is charging! You will really like this speaker - I am buying some for Christmas presents for my family!

Better than anticipated

I purchased an older vehicle prior to the connectivity for listening to music without an auxiliary cord. Came upon this and decided to give it a try. It was super simple to set up. However it took me a moment to realize the phone volume turns all the way down for some reason so I have to turn it up on my phone for it to be able to hear it through the speakers. Once I figured that out I was very pleased with the product. I keep it plugged into a charger so I don’t have to worry about battery life. I use a longer auxiliary cord so I can keep the device close by to change songs instead of reaching all the way to where my auxiliary input is. I drive a Tahoe and you don’t realize how far you are from the radio until you have to reach this to change the song. (I’m pretty short though so may not be an issue for others). Very pleased with this purchase

Very compact with a powerhouse of function

First, shipping was very fast. Next day without any extra cost. This is an amazing little device.
The packaging was great with all the adapters you need to hard-connect or soft-connect the device to your analog stereo.
First things first, the instructions were very easy to follow. setting up the Bluetooth was flawless and took less than a minute. Basically, on your phone do a search for the device, and when found select it. That's it, nothing more.

The built-in battery is a great feature. With the battery and its compact size, you can drop it in your pocket and have the ability to go from your phone to analog instantly. It also has a Mic on it, so you can use it as a hands-free speakerphone when connected to your car stereo.

The sound quality is great. I was not able to notice any artifacts or anything like that. The quality of what you hear seems to be directly related to the analog stereo you have it connected to. No static at all...

The most amazing thing is that it does all this for less than $15 shipped to my house in one day.
I will definitely buy it again if I need it for another stereo. They are priced so you can dedicate them to each analog stereo in your house or car.

Great for the newer generation of phones that don't include an audio jack.

I recently updated my phone to one of the newer Pixel phones. They stopped including a 3.5mm jack for headsets back when they released the Pixel 3/3XL and I needed something for work. I do a lot of traveling and listen to a lot of audiobooks. I used to use the AUX port with a wire to my phone, but that is no longer an option; and I don't have built-in bluetooth to connect to my new phone, so I got this. It works perfectly, surprisingly well actually. I toyed around with it and hooked my wired Sennheiser headphones to it to listen to some music from my PC and to my surprise the audio quality was really good! You can make any wired headphones into wireless with this. Now for what I needed it for at work: It's very light and small, charges fast, comes with the male to male audio jack connector and pairs and connects to your phone fast. The audio quality in the vehicle was great, I couldn't tell the difference from when I was able to use the AUX wire. The controls are simple and they work. Solid battery life. I haven't tested the mic a great deal, just on the PC. It's not the greatest mic you'll ever use but people were able to understand me just fine. The only thing I want to make clear is if you have a pair of headphones with a build-in microphone and you plug them into this adapter whatever you pair the bluetooth adapter to will not be able to utilize the mic. This is audio only except for the device's built-in mic. I don't think there are any devices in this category that are able to do that regardless. This is a handy device and I recommend it!

Works better than the previous ones I ordered.

It is a great product. The online description says that the battery lasts for 16 hours. I am not sure because I haven't used it continuously for 16 hours, but using it for about 5 hours just dropped the battery by 20%. So I assume it will last longer. It has a USB type C charging port which is a good deal for me. Crystal clear sound and the most I liked about this product is its built in microphone and round shap. It works well with my BOSE and SONY headphones. I have uploaded the BOSE pics only. The purpose of my review is to help other Amazon customers, not to advertise or promote the product. More than I expected. My BOSE original 2.5mm bluetooth adapter's battery died since it is a AW2E model and it is hard to find a replacement, but this device plus the short aux wire (2.5mm to 3.5mm) converter brought my dead headphone to a new life. OVER ALL I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE AND THANKS TO AMAZON BY DELIVERING IT ON TIME.

Great versatile bluetooth receiver!

I have been needing a bluetooth receiver for quite some time. I used to use wired headphones with my iPhone, but the newer iPhones don't have a 3.5mm input. This device allows me to listen to my iPhone with my old headphones! It was super easy to set up... I just turned the device on and paired it to my iPhone by selecting the device in bluetooth settings on the phone. I plugged my old headphones into this device, and started listening to music. I have used it several times in the past week and have not had to recharge it yet! In addition, I can connect the device to the 3.5mm input in my car for listening to music or hands free calling. It comes with a charging cable and two male to male 3.5mm adapters as well. I especially like the short silver one (see photo). The sound quality is very good and I definitely recommend this product. It works great!

Perfect High Quality Solution

My 2008 vehicle does not have bluetooth but does have an auxiliary audio port so this product was worth a try. After trying FM transmitters and the audio port, both of which require using an audio cable, this product not only does not require direct power (it does need to be charged by USB), but the connection to the audio port with the double ended connector is a practical and elegant way of eliminating wires. The sound quality is fantastic and the built in microphone even where the unit is located on the audio port down on the center console of the car provides great coverage and I can be heard on phone calls easily. The controls for answering and hanging up on calls are within easy reach as well as those for changing song tracks allow me to concentrate on the phone and never having to touch my phone. The overall build is solid and it's size is small and portable. I give this the highest rating possible in all categories and recommend it to everyone.

Question & Answer

Question :

If i use the aux input will i get sound out of my car speakers? how do i control the music?

Answer :

Video could not be loaded

Question :

Are there any sound effects or voices when pairing or max/minimizing the volume?

Answer :

Yes, when you turn it on, it will say "paired" once it connects. But it seems faint and I don't always hear it. There are no prompts for increasing or decreasing the volume. I always keep the volume on my phone all the way up and increase or decrease the sound volume on my car stereo.

Question :

Where does the music play from?

Answer :

You can plug the bluetooth receiver into the 3.5 mm aux port on your car or home audio system and then link your phone to it. It plays through the speakers of your car or stereo whatever it connects to.

Question :

is it charging when plugged into the aux?

Answer :

No. Need a usb connection.

Question :

How do you hook this up to your vintage car?

Answer :

it has to have an earphone jack or say aux..i had one that you connect to positive and negative and switch to aux. but couldn't get it to work..could've been me?

Question :

Is there a way to have this autoconnect to my phone when I turn on my car?

Answer :

i quite haven't figured that out yet....i turn the receiver on when i start my car,and play my spotify. the bell will ring when i get a phone call but up to now i just pick up my phone and talk, which you're not supposed to do...my car has been in the shop for a few days but i picked it up yesterday and will work on that..i know it says you're supposed to be able to just talk.

Question :

How does this device know that I want it to disconnect from my phone, such as when I leave or turn off my car? Is this a manual process or automatic?

Answer :

when you shut your car off..depending if the radio is switched or unswitched power to the radio hold the square button on top for about 2 seconds and it will turn red and then go off ..no light showing..if you just take it out it will stay running because it has its own battery. hope this answers your question ..Rick

Question :

can I make call using Siri?

Answer :

I found that when i use Siri, the device I’m playing music through just mutes so my phone can display the answer. I may have a setting on my phone not properly set also. Hope this helps.

Question :

Where does the music play from?

Answer :

The receiver gets music from your phone or tablet. so, whatever music formats you have on them like Amazon or YouTube music it then sends the music to whatever you have the receiver hooked up to e.g. wired headphones or amplifier stereo speakers.

Question :

How water-resistant is this adapter? Has anyone tested it?

Answer :

Idk, I keep it plugged into my car..
