i love my chimmy case! it just arrived in the mail. i’m writing a review bc i was a little skeptical about buying at first since there weren’t too many reviews and i wasn’t sure if it was an official product.
SO it’s pretty true to the picture and it’s definitely an official product. it arrived in an adorable tiny box, newly sealed with the line sticker on the back. at first i thought there was a fit issue but u just really gotta squeeze the case on and stretch it a little. then it fits perfectly! it’s really secure and doesn’t feel like it would fall off at all. u can’t reach the back button bc it gets covered but that’s not a big deal for me. there’s a plug-in cover at the bottom for the charging hole which is nice too! it doesn’t come w a clip for the loop on the side but the loop is very sturdy & the hole for a clip is very small, fyi. you’ll probably have to get the thinnest clip ever. the silicone material super smooth and soft & the chimmy baby is to die for. can’t wait to show off this case when it’s ok to leave the house again—for now i’m gonna spam chimmy everywhere on my socials. |

(btw the carabiner the the photo is NOT included). first of all, the packaging is so cute... bt21 makes their packaging so well! the material of the case is very smooth and matte, unlike other silicone cases i bought in the past. while i wish the top and bottom are connected, it makes up for it since the inside of the top part is more grippy that the lining of the bottom part, which is what i’m guessing the designers did so it wouldn’t fall off. the tats part is 3D and once the case is on, it’s very solid and i don’t it’ll fall off any time soon. i wish it came with a hook, but what i recommend is having a very small key ring (i used 1/2 centimeter one) and attaching it to a carabiner. i also appreciate that it has a dust cover for the charging port, super awesome! in conclusion, it’s totally worth you money and is ADORABLE! |

Edit: One downside is that the top is not connected to the base of the case so it sometimes falls off. I lost the top portion somewhere when I was out. Quick tip: maybe add an adhesive to the top case to secure it onto the AirPods! |
