It is a cord.. It is just what you would expect..

I have had it in use for a couple months now, with no problems.. It fits in snug, is not loose or anything else. I have had no problems with it so far.. But lets be honest.. It is a cord that almost never gets moved, pulled on, or anything else.. So what more can I say.. Since it is not constantly getting tugged or anything, there is no way for me to tell how durable, rigid, or anything else that it is.. Only that it works, and I guess that is all that matters.

Works for Cisco ASA 5580
Size: 3ft | Verified Purchase
I use these with a Cisco ASA 5580-40, and should also work with the HP Proliant DL585 G2 (same hardware as Cisco with different software). The cords are well built with thick insulation and well formed plugs. Technically the 5580 should have a 16 amp cable and these are (technically) only rated for 15 amps, but that should not be an issue unless you constantly run with only one power supply and a full system load.

It's a good power cord

Nothing special, but it's a good power cord. I'm using it on a big ATI amplifier that technically calls for a 20A cord and outlet, but since I live in an apartment and never drive it hard I am confident in this power cord for my purposes.

Great plug!

Used for a custom Marshall amp I built for a friend, fit perfectly.
It's not your common 3 prong computer cable plug, this thing is for heavy amperage.
I used this cable with it:

Works perfectly for the Corsair, and was far less expensive than buying a new cable directly from the manufacturer.

Question:If I use this on a 240v outlet what is the max wattage it can handle?
Answer:Our 5-15p power plug is rated for 15 Amps and 125 V (1875 Amps maximum). So, even our C19 connector can handle up to 15 Amps 250V, but it is still limited by the 5-15P plug. Therefore for 240 V outlet can only run around 7 Amps.
