Fits my R5 perfectly as I would expect being OEM Canon. Works perfectly.
On my 5DMIII I purchased an OEM Canon battery grip and it worked perfectly. On my 5DMIV I purchased an aftermarket grip which was less than half the price. It worked perfectly too. Right now there are no aftermarket grips for the R5 so I decided not to wait and purchased the OEM grip. Honestly, if it wasn't perfect it would get a 1 star rating, because it just has to be perfect with the price premium you pay for OEM items.

Quality battery grip
First off, grip is great! The seller, Unique Photo Inc, should be transparent and let the buyer know that they will not receive a Canon USA product. The grip that I received has the Australia/New Zealand warranty. I have never KNOWINGLY purchashed a gray market item and frankly it pisses me off that I received one. To boot, I paid full USA retail for a non USA warranty item. I only bring this up so that buyers are aware of the practices of a business. For me, I will be more aware of researching the sellers on Amazon. I had checked the product questions and it seemed that the seller answers were Canon USA for this battery grip. APPARENTLY NOT AT UNIQUE PHOTO INC! Let me be crystal clear to the seller and Amazon, I AM EXTREMELY UPSET THAT I WAS SOLD A NON USA AUTHORIZED ITEM!!!

Canon Brand works great
its OEM Canon and perfect fit, finish and function for the R6, but a bit pricey at $350. I had an aftermarket grip for my old T7i that was almost as good and it was like $99. It will be awhile before aftermarket products like this are available for R5/6 but you can't go wrong with Canon. Adds a bit of weight and size, but the extended battery life and feel and function of the battery grip makes using a big lens easier in my opinion.

Another must have
In my humble opinion as a portrait photographer a battery grip is essential. Being able to shoot with your elbows close to your body adds stabilization in any orientation. It also helps with weight distribution when you have a heavier lens. I've always had a grip since the 40D. Yeah, it's super expensive but if it's part of your work flow you just see it as a part of the price of the camera. Oh, and you can have two batteries in it which, oddly enough, I never do. I have it for the ergonomics.

Must have with heavy lenses and long day shooting
This extra battery in your camera is a lifesaver,
mirrorless cameras eat batteries pretty fast.
The extra ergonomics and balance with heavy lenses are well needed.
Expensive but worth it,.

Must have for the R5
OK, this adds more weight to R5, but I like the grip as it fits my hand better and doubles the battery capacity which is important since these mirrorless cameras draw more power from the battery. All in all, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and if you need the camera to be smaller and lighter, it is easy to remove!

Canon BG-R10
Perfect addition to the Canon R5. Adds the additional battery and naturally the vertical grip with controls. I like the added height it had to the body as I can shoulder the camera while standing. Another feature I like about the Canon grip is the ability to easily attach a hand strap. I decided on the Gitzo handstrap as oppose to the Canon handstrap, E2. The Gitzo is heavier duty.

Better than the EOS R Battery Grip
If you’re even looking at this, you know why you need it and hardly need to look at this review but this is hands down better than the battery grip for the EOS R, simply because it has the features of the RF built into the grip, such as the joystick. This is a must have accessory if you don’t need a form factor camera rig.

Gray Market?
This in NOT a product from CANON USA. I wonder what kind of warranty it will carry? However it is a simple battery grip and "SHOULD" hold up. Funny that the cost was the same price as B&H photo as well as other retailers that I checked that probably had CANON USA products. Only AMAZON had it in stock the others did not so I bought it.
This battery grip does look and feel good when attached to my EOS R6 and should add more battery life. Just beware of the warranty issue.

Expensive But Good
I feel like a battery grip is essential on any camera, especially with mirrorless cameras. This one is no different. I use it with my R6 and it's great. That being said, it is REALLY expensive especially considering I can get one for under $100 for an older model that's 3rd party.
As others have noted the warranty seems to be from Australia, though.
Question & Answer
Question :
Is this the US version or important (Australian) version?
Answer :
Ours is the USA version. They come direct from Canon USA
Question :
Does it fit on the new canon eos r6? only seen it on the r5..
Answer :
It works on both the R5 and R6.
Question :
How to know which battery died to swap while using?
Answer :
If you are using legitimate Canon-branded batteries (not 3rd party substitutes), there are two LEDs on the back of the grip that indicate the physical position of the battery in the grip.
Question :
Can arca-swiss type base plates or l brackets be mounted on this battery grip?
Answer :
The SunwayFoto PCL-R5G "L" Bracket fits this grip perfectly and allows both portrait or landscape orientation. This bracket also provides full access to the battery tray so batteries can be swapped even if the camera is clamped on an Arca-Swiss equipped tripod.
Question :
Does it work on eos 750d?
Answer :
No
Question :
Canon usa will not honor the australia / new zealand warranty!
Answer :
The warranty laws are different in different countries and the cameras are different in different countries. This forces companies to have different rules for countries...
Question :
Does this camera grip work with the canon rebel sl3?
Answer :
No this does not. This is only compatible with the canon eos R5 and eos R6.
Question :
Does the battery grip come with the 2 additional batteries?
Answer :
I purchased the battery grip elsewhere and I can confirm that it comes with the battery grip alone.
Question :
Can this work with canon eos-1d x mark iii dslr camera
Answer :
No this only fits R5 and R6
Question :
Does this come with it's own charger?
Answer :
No. It will work on one or two batteries but you must supply those and the charger that comes with the camera or buy some extra batteries that come with an extra charger. Unit fit and finish is perfect match to R6
