The most useful electronics storage accessory
Verified Purchase
This cloth folding pouch thing is about the most useful electronics storage accessory I've ever had. I can fold my camera into it, but leave one flap open and pull the camera in and out, or close the flap and it's like padding for keeping the camera in my backpack. It means I don't need an extra camera bag, I can just throw my camera in a larger bag instead, all safe and snug. I got a couple extras of this for a camera lens and a tablet also. Basically, this product is pretty simple: a kevlar feeling side and a soft cloth side. It has velcro so you can fold it in whatever directions you need to, and it will take the form of the equipment you're wrapping up. I use this to pack my camera in my carry-on for trips. I highly recommend purchasing one of these if you are bringing your camera somewhere and don't want the whole camera bag, or want the camera in another bag. This is perfect for that.

Absolutely love these!! made with very good material

I picked up two one for my canon SL2 and one for anything else i may need to protect i usually end up using the second for my gaming headset and controller since my gaming headset doesn't fold and so it can keep it from just being in a bag without any protection and this does the trick it keeps things safe along with organizing things at the same time. I would recommend to any one looking to turn any bag into a bag that is safe for camera gear or any gear.

Versitile photo protector

20 years taking photos and buying different bags, cases, etc for my equipment and this is really innovative and useful because I can carry my SLR on any messenger bag for a random walk, so I don't need a dedicated bag (which in my country is a tell that you're carrying something expensive an you become a possible target). I also take it to my trips in case I don't want to use the full setup of my camera.

Love this camera pouch

I love to take my camera everywhere, but I don't love hauling the large camera bag with me everywhere. I do carry my backpack everywhere, and this is the perfect solution. I just wrap my camera (canon r) with whichever lens I want to carry (usually 24-105) and throw it in my backpack.

Not Sure How I Survived Without This

I'm a full-time traveling photographer and I always had issues with packing my lenses. I used to wrap them in clothes, beanies, socks, whatever. Anything to protect my babies.

Enter the Domke.

This thing rocks. It's durable, the velcro is solid and doesn't pull up the fabric when it releases, and it's lightweight and packable. Definitely go for the 19-inch as I can fit two large lenses in there.

Super versatile and really protect my camera

Super versatile and really protect my camera. My backpack was dropped when my friend try to help me carry my luggage at the airport. I had my camera and my laptop in my backpack and it dropped from the height of a 29' luggage to the parking lot ground. My friend and I thought my lens and camera was definitely destroyed BUT everything was fine. It has been more than a month since the accident, both my camera and lens still works perfectly thanks to this.

Turn any carrying case you already have into a camera-safe case.

I like this protective wrap because it gives me confidence that whatever carrying case I put my Nikon camera in I know it will be safe. Instead of buying an expensive camera-only carrying case I can wrap up my camera and put it into any backpack/bag/pack that I’ve accumulated from college or camping. I highly recommend this if you don’t want to go out of your way to buy another backpack that will ONLY hold your camera. I have two different messenger bags (one big one small) and I can easily use either with this camera wrap.

Worked for my 5D Mark iii
Verified Purchase
I can wrap my 5D mark iii and a 70-105 lens. Just what I was looking for. Seems to be very strong and it stays wrapped. I wanted to take my camera on a trip but didn’t want to lug around my camera bag. This wrap worked to keep my camera safe in my backpack

Great wraps when you just want to stuff minimal gear in your bag and go!

These work great for those times when you don't want to pack your Photog backpack. I can stuff my D750 and a lens in my work backpack or messenger bag and just go! Or maybe you just want to bring along an extra lens. Very handy and a must have if you own any type of camera.

Custom Questions & answers

Question:would i be able to use this to put into my school bag
Answer:Yes, I keep mine in a drawstring bag or backpack. Depending where I go.

Question:Is this a lead based wrap that will protect my film against xray machines?
Answer:No. This cover does not contain any lead.

Question:What size would i need to fit my canon 70D body without a lens?
Answer:The large size is very versitle. For smaller cameras you just wrapping it tighter.

Question:what size would i need for a canon m6 (mirrorless) with a standard kit lense (15-45) ? I dont want to go too big.
Answer:The 15-inch could do it, however, to be future proof, should go for the 19-inch

Question:Can I use a single 19x19 for my canon t5i with it's kit lens?
Answer:It comfortably fits my 6D with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, so definitely!

Question:how thick is the wrap? Doesn't look like it's very protective for drops/bumps. Is it cushioned /foam material?
Answer:It's not very thick, but it will provide cushioning when wrapped around an item. I don't rely solely on it to protect from falls, but it is great at protecting equipment from rolling around in a bag or case.

Question:What's the best size to fit a Dji Mavic? 19 inch?
Answer:A Dji Mavic is 11.4 x 7.1 x 9.4 inches. So, I don't think the 19" Domke wrap is big enough. The company PolarPro sells a soft case specifically designed for the Dji Mavic, which you may wish to consider.

Question:I woulld like to wrap a pair of binoculars I just bought - what size would i need? I believe the dimensions are approx 5.5"x5.5"x2"
Answer:Don't know, Meryl, but if you cut an 11" x 11" piece of paper, try wrapping the binocs, and it doesn't wor, then try a 15" square and 19" square. Whichever seems to enclose your binocs to your satisfaction is the size to order.

Question:I use a Sony a7mk2 + 55.8 with vertical grip attached. Should I get 15-inch or 19-inch?
Answer:I would say absolutely the 19inch to get full coverage. This is a great product as it will protect from dust as well as being knocked into.

Question:Will this be able to fit my wacom intuos pro medium?
Answer:A wrap like that is perfect for a tablet like yours, just be sure you get a big enough wrap so there's plenty of coverage and protection
