Answer: It measures 25.5 inches from end to end with a 2 inch velcro strip on each end. I measured the inside circumference fully closed with a tape measure and it measured 22.5in. So there's some wiggle room.   Question: Would this fit a Celestron Evolution 6? Answer: It should fit any 6-in telescope. I cut a notch on the side of mine with a pair of scissors in case there are any mounting brackets that are in the way. I have a celestron 6SE....It helps create a more snug fit.   Question: Will this fit an outer diameter tube of 184mm or 7.25"? Answer: Yes it should. You will probably want to cut a notch in it to go around the arm that attaches to the tube for a snug fit, unless you buy one with the notch already in it.
