Are both ends the same? The slots on the outer top looks like they are different widths in some of the photos.
Answer :
They are the same. When I use target disk mode with an old Mac, orientation of the cable doesn’t matter and I don’t need an adapter. I just grab the cable, plug it in, and it works.
