Great improvement for the Blue Yeti mic's audio (Video demo)
Got this windscreen in hopes of reducing the background noises -- such as the low hum that comes from the air conditioning vent -- in my room when recording voice overs on my Blue Yeti mic. Additionally, I wished to reduce the effect of my breathing while I spoke.
I am pleased to say it does a great job of reducing such ambient noises although you might still need to do further reducing in the post-processing stage of your audio editing depending on how loud they are. Moreover, I did have to stretch the foam ever so slightly in order to fit it on my Blue Yeti mic but it didn't require much effort.

This fits great on my Blue Yeti Pro. Just slipped on and is snug. Great all around product. Would have given it 5 stars but mine came with a half inch spot on it that looks like it is a bit melted. It has no impact on functionality, but it's ugly. I have to point the ugly spot away from the camera for streaming/vlogs. I think I just got unlucky.
--- Edit - I have upped this to 5 stars. After reviewing this product, within about an hour, the vendor replied and offered me a new windscreen at no charge. This is excellent customer service that you don't see very often these days. I received the new product and it did not have the same issue. If I have needs, I will certainly use Vocalbeat again!

Better than the disk and semi-cylinder pop filters
This was my third windscreen/mic cover purchase for my Blue Yeti; the exact pop filters I tried before are listed below.
This item is much more attractive, compact, and functional than both those gaudy and over-sized disk-shaped pop filters with the bendy arms that get screw-clamped onto the microphone arm (
Neewer NW(B-3) 6 inch Studio Microphone Mic Round Shape Pop Filter
) and the multi-layer semi-cylinder pop filters that are held in-place by elastic bands (
Sywon Metal Mesh and Foam Layer Mic Cover
).
I had no issues applying the foam cover, though some have reported tearing theirs. I just breathed a warm, moist breath into the foam to make it pliable before application (which had a debatable degree of impact) and applied it by cupping it in my hand and massaged it down onto the Blue Yeti as though I were giving it a noogie.
This does a better job than the other pop filter options of blocking out ambient noise and errant keystrokes that I don't want captured by the mic. It's also more compact so I can more easily maneuver the microphone and boom-arm assembly out of the way during non-use.
Now I just have to figure out what to do with the old pop filters since I'm never going back...

so I didn't know how bad those could be without a windscreen
I bought the Blue Yeti mic a few weeks ago, but I noticed that it was picking up a lot of background noise and had issues with "plosive" sounds. Pros and cons...
My son loves to play online games with voice. I'm also a youtuber who needs to record my voice in my vid.
The problem with cheap mics is that there are no windscreen or pop filter available for them. So, I finally bought a Blue Yeti mic, but did not want to or feel the need to add a pop filter for what I do(pop filter takes up too much extra desk space), so I bought this windscreen, which does a great job at reducing the pop tremendously and especially for the price, it's a great add on, in-order to get a much better recording. I'm very finicky and like to compare products and I think this is one of the best windscreen available. Yes, a pop filter is better, but cost more and takes up too much extra room.
Pros:
- Cost effective.
- Less desk hogging space, compared to a pop filter.
- Good quality material.
- Easy to install (it is made of foam, just becareful while installing, so not to rip it, if you do, it's your own fault, not the product)
- Does help keep the pop down quite a bit.
- Perfect fit for the Blue Yeti mic.
- I've tried several different windscreen, this is one of the best.
Cons:
- Non that I can think of so far.

A great foam cover for the Blue Yeti
I use to have a pop filter for my Blue Yeti mic but it really did not work well and the mic was still picking up a considerable amount of background noise. So i went shopping around and fishing the internet to find some answers and found out how much better foam covers work. After a few hours on Amazon I found this one and I am super satisfied with it. It works for the Yeti Nano
In the question section below the company stated that this does not work for the Nano. It's probably an attempt to upsell on a Nano foam windscreen. In fact I thought to myself, "What are the chances that this would not work on a Nano?" I mean the mic size appears to be the same. I took my chances and purchased it for my Nano. This and a crane arm are the best assessories for my Nano. I love it. I went a few weeks without this thing. I mainly like it for protection (e.g., preventing dust from getting into the mic), however it also helps with harsh "p" sounds when speaking directly into the mic. This foam windscreen is excellent. I just wish it wasn't misleading by saying that it does not work on the Nano.

Great protection for your Yeti while providing an average pop filter protection.
After buying the blue Blue Yeti microphone for my Youtube podcast, I had to get that blue pop filter foam as well to complete my set.
It does a great cosmetic job, and I believe will also do a great job at protecting the microphone itself from spit & other saliva residues that keep getting throw toward the mic all the time. Foam feels nice at the touch, and even smells nice too in my opinion. After reading some reviews on here, it was easy to carefully install it on the Yeti, following that clockwise palm hand motion applied from the top of the foam, that some people talked about.
On the pop filter protection, I tested the mic without and with the foam on, and I noticed some improvement. But I can still hear the pop noise of my "P" from time to time though. May be less frequently or less loud as using the mic without the foam.
As for the sound itself, I didn't really noticed any sound blocking from the foam. So the mic sound level seemed to me the same as using the mic without the foam. Which is great since I wanted the protection to protect my microphone, but not block any sound quality from it though.
So will definitely recommend the brand for any Yeti owner out there.

The product may come in a wrapping that may look “warped”. Let the product sit for at least a week. If the windscreen does not revert to its normal form then request a refund or replacement. The product works great and filters out any audible Ps and Bs from your voice as well as outside noise that may be picked up by the capsule.
Update - Got the replacement, and no issues whatsoever. Its great for the Yeti in an open environment! Looks great but does make the mic look a bit phallic.

Simple piece but does wonders
I just purchased a new Yeti Mic and while it's great it was SO GREAT at picking up audio that it would grab every bit of background noise if I wasn't careful, very specifically, noise from my fans in the room. I would have to shut both fans off in my room to be able to get a clean recording of me. I have a buddy who also had a like Yeti and sent me the link to purchase this windscreen for my mic and with Amazon's easy return policy I figured I had nothing to lose by giving it a shot. I don't think it'll make a difference.Supposedly I heard that pop filter if better for recording and windscreen is better for live,but I use the windscreen for both and see no difference.I just prefer the windscreen over the pop filter.
