I brought this to support my Olympus EM1X with the Olympus 150-400 Pro lens. Although it is possible to handhold this setup - to do that for 2 - 3 hours at one go - is asking too much. So - much easier to mount it to a Gimbal and let it carry the weight for you.
About this GkJr Katana - it is a very nicely engineered Gimbal head. If I just lightly tighten the friction screws - I could add a little bit of resistance to the swivel actions. And also very good support as well - I could send them an email and get a response back within a day (I am across the Pacific Ocean). |
