★★★★★ Solid Construction, Quality Cable, Heavy-Duty Plugs, Professional Appearance Verified Purchase I purchased a pair of these to connect 6 channels of my preamp-processor (LF, LS, SBL, RS, RF, C) to my multi-channel amplifier. I wanted something with better RF shielding than that of standard RCA-type interconnects, and was heavy-duty enough to hold up to difficult cable routings. I also wanted something that looked good, and was convenient to use. All of my "wants" are satisfied with these cables. The plug barrels are clear-coated metal with rubber grips, and taper to the wires, making "blind" insertion simpler. They also have a "high end" appearance. The 3-wire bundle can be split further to accommodate wide pin-in spacing or cross-component hookups , if necessary (and then rip-stopped with a zip tie, etc., if desired). These are substantial, heavy-duty cables that weigh about the same per foot as 12-ga outdoor extension cord.
