Great Wire for speakers.

I've been an electrician for 35 years, so I know wire all too well. I've ordered wire supposedly 14 gauge, however, many times wire from China isn't really 14 gauge. This wire is a true 14 gauge wire. Also, I've seen wire sold as copper, and its actually copper covered aluminum. This wire is 100% copper with very low resistance. Don't be fooled by others, This is the real deal! Its nice and flexible (unlike THHN) and arrived promptly.

Excellent 14 AWG pure copper wire

Well constructed twisted strands 14 AWG wire. This wire is very good. NOT the cheap aluminum copper clad stuff. Insulation is very good and the wire is clearly marked with a prominent red-line for the positive connection (great because it is clearly seen which side of the wire is positive and prevents from connecting speakers out of phase). Some of the best wire for the money that I have found, and I would use it again. If you want banana plugs or other custom connectors, you gotta attach or solder them on yourself; but this wire works just perfectly if bare ends are firmly twisted (on a 1/4 to 1/2 inch bare end) and inserted firmly into the speakers and amp and tightly fastened. Just a note for those of you who scoff at folks who choose to use this less expensive wire and will no longer buy those enormously expensive esoteric audiophile claimed interconnects and speaker connects: I have both types of wire connections, and I hear no difference in this wire as compared to the several hundred dollar per meter wires (which I will never buy again). I have replaced some extremely expensive speaker connects with this wire (as a test) and have, to my old ears, noticed equal sound performance when played through a large audiophile system. If you don't believe me, this wire does not cost that much, try it for yourself and be surprised. Highly recommended.

Delivers the Full Audio Spectrum

I use a lot of this wire in my 7.1 theater, 3.1 office and 2.1 garage system and don't even think about changing it to something "better" regarding solid state amps. Wire seems to deliver what the amp and speakers are conveying to each other at the price points they all are. I recently fired up my vintage 90's 2.0 system that has fairly expensive Cardas and Nordost interconnects between discontinued Sonic Frontiers SFL-1 pre amp, discontinued Conrad Jonson PV 11A Amp to the now discontinued JBL Studio 230's LOL...batting 1000. I think I hear what this system is capable of and don't even think about the wire, again. Recessed upper mid range in the 230's per reviews comes out as exactly that. I hear the stunning highs without shrillness and room resonating lows to the limit of 55Hz rolloff with this wire. Not to say vastly more expensive cables (like Virtue Audio Nirvana's now on order) won't bring out nuances in THIS particular system but a topic for another day. I like the heavier gauge, red stripe to locate positive wire, easy to split apart, strip and twist bare wires tight before connecting. I like the sound of all my 13 speakers when connected to this wire! But gotta tweak the tube system a bit but no issue wire for solid state!

Dad says buy this wire....

I am rewiring my outdoor speakers and wanted 100% copper wire that was made in the good ole USA... This wire is exactly as promised. My recommendation is, "Buy good wire, the sound is better and you don't have to drive your speakers as hard and over heat your amp"... At least that is what my daddy told me, and at 55 years old, I'm finally ready to listen.

Good quality wire at a great price.

The wire was easy to work with for the size. I used it for all of the connections from the wall plates to the speakers in my home theater setup. This wire is clearly marked to identify polarity. My system sound perfect.

Solid copper, quality cabling, produced excellent results.

I used this cable to run through a wall to speakers mounted next to my big screen TV. The 14 AWG wire was limp enough to run through holes in the wall with all the HDMI, fiber optic, and power cables, yet stiff enough to work with banana plugs and speaker connectors. This solid copper cable has low resistance producing great quality sound through my high power Onkyo receiver and Klipsch speakers. Cheaper Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) cabling is higher resistance, has poorer working characteristics, and diminishes the results of your invested time and efforts. This copper cable was well worth the extra $10 to get the desired quality results.

All Copper.

Fantastic wire at a fantastic price.

I'm using this to wire two Klipsch RP-280FA tower speakers as well as a Klipsch RP-450CA Center channel to an Onkyo receiver.

This wire is flawless. It's flexible and easy to work with AND provides for superior audio fidelity once all are installed.

Do it. You won't regret it.

Best Speaker Wire I used in 40 years

I learned a lot about speaker wire over the last few days. I originally bought a roll of speaker wire at a big box store. Every time I pealed the insulation off to get to the wire, I would loose a few strands from the wire. After I hooked up the wire, I felt I lost part of my frequency. Hence I started to research wire and learned about pure copper versus copper clad aluminum. In turn I decided to give this wire a try and boy what a difference. The sound was night and day when I used this wire. The wire was also much stronger and did not loose strands easily when peeling the insulation. This is my opinion, if you want the best possible sound, use real copper wire. This brand does a great job for me.

Great basic speaker wire

I haven't bought speaker wire in a long time, and generally I bought Monster XP back in the day. After some research it seems that copper coated aluminum (CCA) has become sort of a standard now that the price of copper has risen significantly. I don't believe that CCA would be detrimental to any audio properties, but smarter people than me have advised stepping up a gauge to keep capacitance apples to apples. I decided to get something high quality but basic in pure copper and this met those requirements. The only complaint I have is that the jacket isn't as soft or pliable as I'd like but overall very good wire.

Good speaker wire

I believe copper speaker wire of the same gauge sounds the same. However, one thing that sets this speaker wire apart is that it has a very narrow red stripe along one of the conductors, which makes it easy to keep the phase correct among a bunch of speakers.
