I am actually more happy with this than I anticipated. I am using it for diamond painting so I got the a2. It came quickly and was easy to get out and plug in. The cord isnt super long but long enough for me to be able to move about without unplugging it. It also has measurements along the frame on the right side if that is important to you. It is very light weight and slim. I am very satisfied.

A2 LED light box Met my expectations!!

I have been crafting with the Diamond beads for several years using a smaller A4 LED light board. Its ok for small canvas pictures, but a real hassle having to move the canvas around without getting the symbols confused! Now the USB port has started giving me issues with the cable becoming detached. I have a really large easel for the bigger canvas projects so it was time to research for another larger LED lightboard. This one truly works out great. I don't have to worry about USB ports anymore because it plugs into the wall socket and no more worries becoming detached. What's even better is the fact it has multiple light settings and the highest is really very bright. I am just loving it! It also came with a really heavy duty canvas bag for transporting.

A2 size is perfect as play light table
Size: A2 light pad | Verified Purchase
Bought this to use as substitution of “light table” for kids. Actual school/day care grade ones are too expensive (small table runs $200 to decent size over $500) for home use, so decided to give this one a try. It is nice sized for the price, and my kids like to do magnetic tiles, or do some art that can see the color through. Its is thin like .25 inches or so. So I would not place it on where this cannot lay flat, or too small table where this light box will over hang alot.

Also “lock the touch button” function came in handy while kids play so it won’t turned off or make it too bright.

Love It!

Great size - lightweight, easy to change from portrait to landscape. Three light controls work perfectly and are nice and bright; it's very convenient to have control over how bright the backlight is. I use it mainly for diamond painting and on small and large canvases, it makes it much easier to see what you're doing. I was initially hesitant because of the cost, but i's been worth the extra money. No issues at all - love it and would recommend it to anyone tracing or painting.

Great for diamond painting!

I, like a lot of others, got into diamond painting during quarantine. At first, I told myself not to get this. "It's only a light pad, it won't affect you THAT much, just save the money." I was so, so wrong.

I've had this for a few weeks now, and it is by far the second best purchase I've made for this hobby (first is the drill storage). There are three light settings, and each one is bright enough without hurting your eyes or being way too dark and useless. Before I had this, I actually used my phone flash light, which got tedious really fast.

The price does seem steep for something that you might only use for diamond painting, but trust me when I say that this is actually a game changer. If you're debating on what size to get, I recommend a bigger one! I got the A2, and it is MASSIVE. Besides, you'll want a bigger light pad down the road anyways, so just get the big one now!

Much better, bigger and brighter than my A3
Size: A2 light pad | Verified Purchase
I already had an A3 light box and it was satisfactory, but when I got this one I discovered the previous one was less than I thought. This A2 is bigger, brighter (it has 5 brightness levels), has a more convenient AC connection and has a better color balance with a higher color temperature so it's more white or almost bluish. It also came with some handy plastic clips for positioning my art work, though I most often use artist tape to get the photo where I want so I can work on my drawing. The A3 is just the right size to fit on my existing drawing board and smooth enough that I just use it as a drawing surface under my paper. I use a medium weight paper or bristol board and the photo underneath shows through fine.

Love love love

I bought this for my diamond paintings and I absolutely love it. I have some that are pretty big my little light pads would not work but this is the perfect size. I love that it doesn’t have a cord that you plug directly into the board instead it actually has a cord that hangs down and then you plug into there it doesn’t overheat so there’s no heat comes off of it and the brightness is amazing especially at night when I’m diamond painting my living room and there isn’t as much light

A decent inexpensive light pad.

I bought this to trace designs for painting - I trace on heavy mixed media paper with ease. Bright and big enough for the job. Its thin which is nice, keeps it light, but at this size it almost seems fragile, however I've had no issues with it. Its easy to control the brightness, and very evenly lit.

The power connector is on a cord - which I like for a few reasons. 1) its not the super fragile USB connector - I really wanted to avoid those as it seems to be the point of failure on most devices that get plugged / unplugged frequently. 2) there's no strain on the tablet plugging in the cable. 3) the connector - not being usb - is a robust coaxial power connector - and in a worst case the lead makes it serviceable / replaceable with some basic electrical skills - but given this deign I don't expect I'll need to worry about that.

Power supply is what you'd expect, but has a decently long cord.

For me it was worth paying a little extra for the larger size - really is nice having enough room for even my larger projects.

Something that finally works
Size: A2 light pad | Verified Purchase
So this is my second review after I had a chance to use it which is so fabulous that I do not have to have my lights on in the living room so it’s really nice that my husband and I can watch movies together this light pad is so bright and and it dims down beautifully I tell you this is the one anyone looking for a light pad that doesn’t unplug or the stupid little Adapter keeps pushing down into your light pad to where you can’t even use it. This is the solution it uses an Aux Jack and I tell you what this light pad seems bigger even though it’s the same measurements of my other ones that broke after a week and a half to two weeks. You will not be disappointed this item is amazing I wish I would’ve found this sooner definitely worth the money

Holy cow light tables have come a long way!

So lightweight and easy to set up, move, adjust. This is the A2 - it's a nice large surface and so thin I don't even have to adjust the drawing table underneath. The various brightness levels mean I can even use this with water color and other hefty papers! The surface is smooth and very comfortable for drawing. Love the cord design which stays in place. This is a fantastic tool at a great price.

Question:Does this work for diamond paintings 40x40?
Answer:I purchased the B4 (the size in between an A4 and A3) for diamond paintings and it's perfect for me. Depending on how you "work" the canvas, you only need a light pad large enough to accommodate the area you are working on at one time. Since I work in a combination of random and straight line in an area no larger than 6" x 6", I only need that particular area lit. I move the canvas and/or the light pad around to accommodate that work area. If you prefer working in a random fashion over an extremely large area, then yes, you'll prefer the largest size possible. If the product dimensions listed (25.35 x 18.5) are accurate, then this is probably the largest size available (without completely breaking the bank). If the price of the A2 scares you, then I would think the A3 would do very nicely for you. Good luck on your decision.
