Amazing for framing, takes some time to get used to.
Absolutely love these corners for mounting prints. I don't like to wet-mount my work because I tend to frame and reframe, and sometimes people ask for options when they purchase my work. These are the best alternative! Be careful when placing the corners though: measure accurately, mark your backboard, and then add about an 1/8 of an inch because the opening for the print doesn't go all the way to the corners. If you don't leave that extra space, you're going to end up with a warping print.

Still giving 5 stars. Not seller's fault. Artists - Not for sketchbooks.
There is a problem and I do not blame the seller. The description says for photo albums, so it is really my own fault for not noticing.
This is for photo albums. Unfortunately, I tore the heck out of a sketchbook page because this glue is way too strong for delicate sketchbook pages. I can glue a blank page over the top of the torn page and that will be fine. Using nonacid glue, of course. But artists beware. Try something else for your sketchbooks.

Very good product to mount exhibit material
I use these mounting corners to prepare a postal history exhibit (envelopes - called covers - affixed to pages along with a description that are viewed in glass frames, 16 pages to a frame). The mounting corners are sturdy and two is sufficient to hold small and large covers. They are archival quality and acid free which protects the items that are mounted. In the past I used larger (3 inch) and much smaller (1/2 inch) corners. The larger size are too large for most items and the small corners are not the quality of the 1.25 corners and are much more difficult to use. You need to develop a personal "routine" in how you affix the cover to the mount and, of course, need to be careful not to damage the item you are mounting as you attach it to the exhibit page. So far I find these corners to be very satisfactory.

EASIER TO USE AND BETTER LOOKING TOO
GREAT! I am SO pleased! Just finished mounting a whole lot of photos with these. They are a little bigger than the typical clear corners with opaque backsides, so they hold better if you don't place them exactly right, and because the underside is clear, it isn't obvious if you're a little crooked in your placement, even if your background is colored. What I especially like is how soft and pliable they are, because it is much easier to get the corners of photos and other items into them without damaging the corners of the items.

Prefect size
I am tackling a very, very big project of organizing and putting family photos into books. Some of the photos date back to the 1800s. I am also doing letters which also date back that far. These corners work for all of it. I finally get to have all the family history neatly placed in binders rather than boxes and boxes and boxes. The corners work perfectly for all of it!!

As expected, work perfectly.
I been pursuing photography for several decades. Got into a situation where I needed to frame three prints. Usual hobby and craft stores don’t carry these, I think because the generate extra business framing by not carrying all supplies needed for framing. Thank you!

Easy to use
Just a good quality product. I used them for a scrapbook of very old photos. The adhesive is strong. The corners go on easily and are large. I've purchased other photo corners and they're much smaller.

Perfect adhesion
I love these photo corners--while I'm pasting photos into an album, if I want to revise the location of a photo, I'm able to remove the corners I've pasted in without much trouble and place them elsewhere, but after some time has passed they stick firmly.

Great item.
I purchased this item for flip wall displays that I am completing for our local historical society for photographs. Since, I did not want to adhere some of the photos onto the cardboard, I used these & round them to work well. If I need more, I would definitely purchase them again.
Question & Answer
Question :
Does anyone know how long they last? I am having to replace a whole album of corners that have started to fall off.
Answer :
I really do not know. I hope they last a very long time. I am working on my family history and have many albums using corners. I haven't had any trouble with them yet.
Question :
Will they adhere strongly to felt?
Answer :
Most likely, no. I don't know of a solution like these that will.
Question :
I want to hang a small picture to the wall without using a frame, would these stick to a wall?
Answer :
No, these photo corners would not stick to the wall.
Question :
How thick of an item do these hold? I'm wanting to frame a manuscript
Answer :
I use them to hold doubleweight photos, so a single piece of paper should be fine. I assume thats what you mean by "manuscript."
Question :
What size photos do these work with?
Answer :
Any standard photos up to 8x10, or so...
Question :
what size are the corners?
Answer :
Framers Corners Item #L533-0021: The Base measures 1 13/16", each side is 1 3/8"; the holding strip is 1 1/4" at the open end.
Question :
How flimsy or sturdy would these be if adhered to a page and used as pockets to hold cards that would be put in and taken out regularly?
Answer :
It's way too flimsy
Question :
What would be the reason to get the larger corners since all corners (no matter the artwork) are the same size?
Answer :
Hello! Because the corners on larger artwork are further apart, there is more surface area and more weight strain on the corners. Using smaller corners will increase the risk of the artwork pulling out of the corners in an album, and if framed will cause warping. This is also true for smaller work on heavier stock or something with a great deal of Impasto.
Question :
How far in do these come in on the top of the photo on each edge? I.e. how far would matting need to come in to hide them?
Answer :
With these corner holders, from the edge of the item to the end of the holder is approximately 7mm or 9/16 inches. I would say that 5/8" matting would do the job as the individual answered previously.
Question :
I want to stick pictures to an old window, I need to stick them directly onto the back of the glass glass so as to be able to see them through the gla
Answer :
I think these clear corners might work if you made sure the glass was clean first.
