★★★★★ | How To Stretch A $20 Bill!! |
Size: Mid Size 38-44mm | Verified Purchase |
After having passed on 2 sets of good binos, I instead tucked the $$$ away and recently took the plunge for, what I consider, the 'finest' of the 'fine' binos for overall scouting, hunting field work and birding. I just received a pair Swaro EL 8.5x42, Model 34208. Since the case provided with binos is a soft material, I wanted instead to find a good quality, semi rigid, simple, strapless case, to protect the binos while at home resting on a table without fear of damage should they fall. Of course, when out in the field, I revert to my trusty chest harness with case attached. I did the research and focused-in on the Maven's, Mid Size. I found in doing the research that matching the (seldom provided) case interior dimensions with a particular size binos is no easy task. In this case, the models/size of the Maven binos paired to fit in the Mid Size were posted. Then, I was able to compare the dimensions of those models with with the dimensions of the Swaro EL's and found one - at least on paper - would fit. Turned out (see photo), the binos are a perfect (no wobble room) fit with the case. Eye cups were screwed in, lens covers installed on both ends. Put the order in with Amazon and received the case right on time, well packed and in perfect condition. The case has an exterior rigid/stiff fabric wall and should protect the contents with impact wit the floor. The workmanship of the case is very good. The interior is lined with a soft smooth fabric. There is one easy to operate zipper and a beefy rubber grip handle on top. While there is no carrying strap provided (which I have no need for), there are two sturdy 3/4" female snap-in connectors located next to the handle should you choose to use them. I must mention, I cannot see this case being used in a rough outdoor environment. I have the same comment for the case provided with the Swaro's. As far as the cost: Based on the cases I've used and seen, I would have guessed the Maven's to be in the $35-40 price bracket. Therefore, at $20, I feel I got quite the deal!! To all, enjoy the out-of-doors and be safe. PaddlerJoe |

★★★★★ | Well Made! |
Size: Large/56mm | Verified Purchase |
This shell is perfect for my 10x42 Leica binoculars. Bit roomier then I needed; however, it actually works better that way, so I can keep my covers inside for the padding to protect my binocs. Zipper is sturdy, and the short handle works fine for me. Doesn't come with the clip on longer strap, which seems odd to me they don't offer that option when you buy this case, as many might want the shoulder strap. I don't; but some might. Good soft (hard enough) shell that takes a goodly amount of being tossed about in my truck, yet protects my costly Leica binocs. I recommend this case for sure. |

★★★★★ | Well made but pricey |
Size: Large/56mm | Verified Purchase |
Well this is a really well made binocular case, but a bit pricey and I don't like paying for shipping BUT I needed a large case to fit 56MM weather armored binoculars that are 31/2 inches high when folded and they have a thick padded neck strap, objective and eyepiece caps. So even with my gripes about price and shipping 5 stars because the case is perfect for them and has a real nice snug fit with no movement and just enough space for their manual and two lens cleaning cloths. I will be ordering carrying strap for the case from Maven. |

★★★★★ | Perfect case for my Mavens! |
Size: Full Size 45-52mm | Verified Purchase |
My B2 9 x 45s fit perfectly in this case! It is well made, attractive, and will provide the extra protection I wanted for my new binoculars because the cloth "case" Maven provides with their binoculars is not satisfactory for me. This case is plenty roomy for the binoculars and allows you to keep the neck strap attached to the B2s. |

★★★★★ | Perfect for traveling |

I use this whenever I have to go into work. They fit my pair like a glove and after a couple of clumsy drops I’ve had, it does the job and truly protects the inside product. If you are getting a high priced set of binoculars then this is a must have. |

★★★★★ | Great protection. |

I am so very pleased with this case. My husband has had his binoculars for decades and the original case literally fell into pieces. I ordered the extra large case (without even measuring — for shame!) and the binoculars fit perfectly. Great protection as we keep these in our vehicle at all times! |

★★★★★ | Great Case at a Nice Price |

I’ve had these binoculars for almost 60 years. This case works fine but it would be nice if it came with a shoulder strap. If your binoculars fit, I recommend this case for you. |

★★★★★ | Perfect case!! |

This case is one of several Maven has in different sizes. And this one is perfect for Maven C-1. I use the soft case that the binos came in inside of this case so the binos are well protected. And there is still a little room left for my tripod mount and a small cleaning cloth. Good job Mavenbuilt!! |

★★★★★ | Just The Right Size |
Size: Mid Size 38-44mm | Verified Purchase |
I was looking for a little extra protection for my Swarovski 10X40 binoculars than what the soft case that came with the binoculars afforded. This rigid medium size case works out quite well with enough extra room lengthwise to fit the binoculars with aftermarket lens covers attached that are not included as standard equipment with the Habichts. |

Works as advertised. Glasses stay j. Here whenever not being used. Wish they would have been part of the original purchase. Price of mind when in my backpack or in the back of the truck |
