[Review&QnA] Mediabridge Ultra Series Subwoofer Cable (75 Feet) - Dual Shielded with Gold Plated RCA to RCA Connectors - Black - (Part# CJ75-6BR-G1)
About this item
- Ideal for connecting subwoofer speakers to audio components, such as stereo receivers or sound systems, while offering excellent bass response and flexibility.
- Low-loss, wide spectrum coaxial cable great for the low-frequency signals produced by subwoofers, allowing for deep and precise audio quality.
- A split-tip center pin ensures high contact pressure and signal strength, while unique gripped molding and corrosion-resistant gold-plated RCA connectors provide a consistently tighter fit than commonly rolled cables with wider tolerances.
- A copper clad center conductor, dielectric insulation, aluminum braiding and 2 layers of foil shielding, for maximum protection against the hum/static encountered when multiple devices are in close proximity of each other. The cable is finished in tough, yet pliable PVC jacket with color coding, for easy routing and quick installation.
- This cable is backed by Mediabridge's Limited 1 Year Warranty. Includes adjustable & reusable Velcro cable strap for easy organization & storage.

Not much to say about a subwoofer cord
but it does work as advertised and low, to almost no distortion. I was about to send it back until I realized what I thought was a 60 hertz hum, was actually coming from the fan on the ceilings motor in the same room directly above towards the center. I moved my sub from the front wall, into the back by my sofa so it was actually closer to me and ear height. After testing my monster cable I had from bestbuy (years ago). This one worked just as well. It also came a day early, something I notice this vendor tends to do. I would buy it again if I needed to.

Sub never sounded so good
I was a little worried about the length of the wire but this product is so good that my subwoofer sounds exactly the same as it did with the short wire.

Sturdy cable with well made ends
Sturdy cable with well made ends. Mine is 75’ and ran above the ceiling and down walls and I am completely confident in its construction and functionality. I’m getting the same sound I’d expect from a 6’ cable. Would definitely buy again.

Great quality, I have an outdoor subwoofer that I constantly plug in and out while hosting parties, my subwoofer is not weatherproof so I only have it out when needed, so I constantly plug it in and out and the craftsmanship is great! No issues so far and I’ve had it over a year.

Question & Answer
Question :
does anyone have any issues with the 75' cable?
Answer :
Not at all but also only transferring my subwoofer signal to it which won't have much affect on sound at this distance
Question :
Can I use this cable from the output video port of my cable box to the video input of my old projector?
Answer :
No. Video cables (yellow endes) are different to audio cables. You could see video but distorted. Use a video (yellow) cable.
Question :
Is this rated for in the wall use?
Answer :
Response I received directly from Mediabridge: "This cable is not certified for in-wall use even though based on some reviews, some customers have used it in wall with no issues."
Question :
Can this cable be used as a regular audio “non subwoofer “
Answer :
I don't see why not, but a thinner gauge cable would be much less expensive.
Question :
Do i need two of these cables if i going to sub-woofer from standard red and white rca output / inputs?
Answer :
For just a single subwoofer, you only need 1 cable. If the sub input has 2 you can either use a Y cable or just the left usually for the single cable without the Y adapter. I've used mine both ways and didn't notice any difference.
