Great DVDs
These dvds work. I read some of the reviews on them saying the disc won't format. If you are burning video files onto them, it is not the disc you need to format; it is the files. Once you convert your video files to DVD NSTC or which ever plays in your country, you can burn them onto the disc. It will play in your DVD player. Again the files has to be converted to whichever type of DVD player you have.
I have been doing this for years and never had a problem once I learned the proper way to burn a DVD.
Never format the disc, they will become unusable.
Memorex is the brand I use for DVDs and CDs. 👍

Memorex DVDs & CDs
Memorex has always been the brand that I've always used & relied heavily upon! - I also use their DVD/CD ExPressit Template Designs & their accurate (sticky back) "CD/DVD Label Creating Pkgs" to make Professional Looking CD labels for my own Solo-Produced CDs at: BlkIndiansMusic dot org as well! - I've only had 1 "unusable" DVD & 2 CDs out of the 400+ CDs & DVDs, I've ever tried to use from Memorex! - Now that's what I call a STERLING RECORD! - All human beings imperfect, but the Memorex Corp. seems to defy both The Laws of "Gravity & Logic" as well! ;-) - This Review applies to the "CD-Rs" the "DVD+R's" & the "DVD+RWs" I specifically use. - I've heavily used my current Memorex DVD+RWs for over 12 yrs now, w/not a single issue with any of 'em, until lately! - Hey, most things eventually wear out, right? - But, I think any product that lasts, trouble free, for over 12 yrs is most definitely quite "cost effective," don't you think? - Even most cars & trucks won't last for over 10 years, now-a-days! ;-)

Best rw disks I've used yet!
These seem to be a much higher quality than the other disks I've used. No issues with re-recording,good quality audio and video.

Great for my Windows Media Center recordings!
I got these rewritable DVDs in order to watch TV shows recorded on my computer. I'm new to the whole DVR realm and don't have everything connected in my house in order to send TV recordings from my computer to my preferred TV. Even though write-once blank DVDs are quite cheap, I couldn't bring myself to creating that much waste (I am not into "collecting" shows). These rewritable DVDs are perfect for watching a show once and then reusing them. Even better is removing the commercials on the computer before copying them to the DVD (DVRMSToolbox is clumsy for this, but I eventually got it to work). Commercial-free TV is the best!

The BEST!
I'm doing my own project, and these are just what I needed. Don't buy plain CD-R disks, because if you make a mistake (which you WILL), or if you want to re-record something else later, you cannot reinitialize them on your computer to re-record. You can re-record on these DVD-RWs up to 1000 times each. They are WELL worth the little extra you pay for them, and you don't clutter up our landfills with any discarded plain DVD-Rs.

They work for me.
Seller: Amazon.com
Purchased: June 2013
The price was $15. They qualified for free shipping at the time. The product arrived undamaged.
The disks all functioned correctly.
I checked all the files written to the disks (lots of different files types). The files were all readable and could be copied and pasted back to my Western Digital hard drive from the DVDs.
I used a LG external DVD drive to write on the disks. It was purchased in 2005. My internal stock DELL DVD drive will read them, but I have not tried writing on these disks with it. The DELL DVD drive was purchased in 2006. Sorry, but I do not really know what else to write about it or know what the exact models are of my DVD drives or anything like that.

Excellent discs that never give problems!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to everyone who wants to burn anything onto DVD's. These are excellent. They burn and read without any problems, even months and years later, unlike typical write once discs. So, whether your backing up your computer, or burning a copy of a movie, these are the way to go. Seriously, if your DVD player doesn't support +RW's, go buy a modern DVD player and use these. That way you'll never have to go through the pain and problems of write-once DVD's. :)

Memorex DVD+RW
We have purchased about 24 packages of 25 disc each so far and we have had only about 2 bad disc. The trouble that we have had is with our equipment sometimes one recorder will not format the disc and we will try another recorder and it will work fine. I would definitely recommend these disc. I would also recommend the +RW over the -RW. I don't know if it is the same on everyone's equipment but we can edit the +RW but we cannot edit the -RW giving us more options while recording or dubbing.

Everything works fine
I've used about 10 of these discs so far for recording on my DVD-R as well as burning stuff on my laptop and so far all the discs have performed flawlessly. No problem recording or burning as well as viewing it afterwards. Based on my own experience with these discs I see no problem with recommending them.
(Update) I've used nearly all of the discs and have had no problems recording, erasing, or playback. No problems here.
Question & Answer
Question :
What is a dual layer blank DVD disk per a normal DVD+RW disc?
Answer :
ON a DVD+RW disc You can arace what you recoded. And then record something else. ON a DVD recordable disc. You can only record once.
Question :
Can these be used to backup your computer
Answer :
These are RW, which means they are re-writable. So if you've got the time, they certainly will save your back-up files an folders. But to actually backup more than data, such as your OS, you need a backup program designed for that purpose.
Question :
What is the difference between a DVD+ and a DVD-? I have used both and I guess I never noticed the difference.
Answer :
You hardly notice the difference. In recordings of videos, are practically equal. If the DVD is used for recording data (computer backup) the difference can be noticed easily. The DVD + RW is very fast and the DVD-RW is very slow.
You can ask if you still have questions.
Question :
will these work in a car or CD player etc?
Answer :
No there just dvd players
