What is the max weight that it can hold? will a 60 inch, 45 lb tv work on it if the tv base is small enough?

I’m not 100% sure but it might work. We have a 45” tv on it and it’s an older (10 years old), heavier flatscreen so maybe if yours is a newer, lighter one it would work. I would suggest putting a strap from your tv to the wall just in case it flips forward. We have kids so we did this. Sorry, I’m not sure of the weight of my tv but the mount is very heavy duty. We are happy with it.

I’m very confused on how a tv can just sit on this stand without securing it. Please explain! And will it work on a Samsung 50 in curve tv?

You put it on the stand the same way you would stand it on a table. You only need this stand if you want to swivel the TV. As for your TV, you need to look at the specs for your specific model and see what size the base is, but a brand like Samsung should use a center base and then it would fit. Enlarge the image for this product and you will see how it sits on the turntable. There is no need to secure it as long as the table or tests on its stable.

Should be no problem. I have a 55 inch TV mounted. The top, which the TV sits on, is about 2 feet wide & a foot or so deep. The top rotates on a circular base so I would guess the is no limit, up or down, to the size mounted. It's very smooth in operation.

The size of the base of your tv cannot be bigger than 31 wide and 15 deep.
So if your base is in the middle of your tv or the leg span is no wider than the measurement of the tv swivel as explained above
Any size tv can go on it. It’s all about how the base of your tv Mine has two legs on each side and it fits on there perfect.
You cannot adjust the height.
