Great for Storing Cling & Unmounted Rubber Stamps. Very Sturdy!
These make great storage panels for unmounted rubber stamps. They are thick and sturdy. I add a sheet of 110 lb. white cardstock in the middle before laminating for even more stability. I can store unmounted cling stamps on both sides of the laminated panel without it bending.
Saved me a lot of money by making my own storage panels. I converted over 3000 wood mounted stamps to cling stamps and store on these panels now. Freed up a ton of space in my craft room.
Highly Recommend!

Great quality!
Great quality! Cheapest I could find the 5 mil thermal pouches and the final product turned out amazing. I used the AmazonBasics laminator too. I have used about 50 of the 200 pouches so far and has no issues whatsoever.

Excellent Quality
Wow what an amazing quality. I did not have any problem with the product being damaged like other reviewers. I was going to the local office supply store to have my items laminated and I was paying close to $3.00 dollars per sheet for the 5ml paper. I was fortunate to find a commercial grade laminator at a Yard Sale cheap. The paper and laminator I bought has already paid for its self.

GREAT VALUE & A QUALITY RESULT
I am a partner in a 2+ year old, upscale restaurant/bar. We just started to print our own menus in-house using a new HP all-in-one color laser printer, a "YE381" 13 inch laminator (Amazon), 2-sided glossy presentation paper, and these 5 mil laminating pouches. Success! The menus look great, even better than the ones we used to have professionally printed and laminated. They're bright, clear with no bubbles or creases. These 5 mil pouches a;long with the presentation paper make a solid, firm menu. And now we can make changes to the menu anytime we need to, and we're saving significant money too. I priced pouches at the office supply store but these pouches had great reviews and were so much less on Amazon.

Perfect for my print and plays
I use these pouches to print and play 18xx board games. I don't care for the matte pouches because they leave marks pretty easily, so this is my go-to for gloss. They're pretty thick so they almost feel pro. I run them through an Apache 13" laminator at about 305 degrees, twice. Then I do trimming as necessary. I don't think I've ever had any peeling whatsoever. So far, these beat out Amazon, Friskars, and Oregon Lamination brands for me!

What a steal for 100 of these babies...Thick not thin 5 mil plastic will suit the bill for signs
I bought this to use with a 20 dollar 3m laminator and it does a good as a job as my old Jackson Hirsch laminator and the quality of these pouches is fantastic. They don't stick together allowing you to easily drop the document 8 1/2 x 11 into them and still provide a border around the document. Perfect quality and perfect size. I am 100 percent satisfied and will buy again.

Exactly what I wanted.
These are perfect. Nice and thick. They work flawless. I do have to say one of them had a lump of glue, but it wasn’t a big deal because I was only using half the sheet. If you are looking for sturdy laminating sheets that you can use with dry or wet erase markers, this is it. These are perfect for laminating score sheets for roll and write games.

Highly recommended.
This product is worth the little extra money you pay for the 3 mil thickness variety.
Make sure you have a laminating machine that is designed to do the 5 mil pouches, though.
The results are very, very professional, thick, sturdy, and good enough that you can trim small things *without* having a border of the laminate to keep it together. The difference between 3 mil and 5 mil is quite noticeable. I have a supply of both and never use the 3 mil because it's just not sturdy enough.

Works just fine for me.
I bought these along with Amazon Basics 9-Inch Thermal Laminator Machine. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BUI5QWS/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't use this a lot, so I was just looking to go cheap. It's worked great so far. May have used 20/30 in the last 2 years.

Question & Answer
Question :
What's the difference between 3mil and 5 mil?
Answer :
Other than the obvious 2 miles of thickness, the 5 mil will give a stiffer feel and more resiliency. You have to have a laminator that will slow the feed speed down in order to get a good adhesion, though. If you don’t, they come apart after a bit of rough handling.
Light usage and general office treatment, 3 mils, works fine and they are more flexible. Almost like a sleeve application, that’s water proof.
Rough use or going outdoors...? Go 5 mil and spend the few bucks for the dual choice lammy.
Question :
What's the actual thickness for each pouch?
Answer :
These are 5 mil which I would say is about an average thickness. 3 mil is used a lot also.
Question :
This states 5 mil but i noticed in the comments customers are saying 3 mil. which thickness is it ?
Answer :
I believe is is 3 mil thick. I have purchased from other companies both 3 mil and 5 mil. You would only need 5 mil for an extra duty protection. The 3 mil thickness works for almost everything that you need. On occasion I do use 5 mil thick when I know my preschool students are going to handle something quite a bit. I would recommend the 3 mil thickness to start with on your laminating.
Question :
This says photo safe, is this stuff acid-free? Thanks
Answer :
I do not know. I have used it on documents for a few years with no roblems.
Question :
Can I trim directly to the paper and does it stay sealed?
Answer :
You can trim around your paper leaving some space around it and it will stay sealed. If you trim too close to your papers, the laminated sheet will peel.? But you have to run everything through the laminating machine first.
Question :
3 or 5 mil? I’d like to make my own stamp & die storage pockets but idk which thickness to get? Has anyone done this?
Answer :
I use the 5mil thick pockets . I laminate paper signs for messages at work and the thickness is perfect. Not too flimsy but not too thick
Question :
Can these be used to make sensory bags for children?
Answer :
They are designed to seal paper using a hot laminator, so I don't think so.
Question :
How can I be sure I am getting 5 mil Can the supplier guarantee it?
Answer :
I didn't put a micrometer on the pouches in my package but I use the standard pouches too & these are consistent + thicker. They work very well for laminating my restaurant menus.
Question :
Are the 5mil pretty rigid after running through the laminator? I'm looking for a stiff finished product. Thx!
Answer :
They are not super stiff nor flimsy. You can bend them but I wouldn’t use them for a table top menu. They would be too thick to make a nice crease if you folded them in half
Question :
what laminating pouches that are glossy can I use for the model 92499?
Answer :
I don’t know. But I’ve used three different laminators and I have always used 5mil pouches regardless of the laminator model. Good luck!
