It holds up!
I thought for the price it was going to be flimsy and fall apart after a while. I have a bunch of patches for work, some small, some large. I can fit about six large patches on this (some do hang over....I'm not OCD about it). Definitely thinking of getting another one for the other visor. It doesn't really interfere with the mirror if you have the kind that slides rather than flips up.....if you have the flip kind of mirror then the center strap is definitely going to be a problem for you.

I placed these on my visors with the Velcro side facing outward so that I could always see my patches. I doubt it, unless you sewed it on, the back of this has three elastic velcro straps that are really only made to hold onto a visor
