Smoothest bass reflex port ever
Verified Purchase
I've never heard a smoother transition in and out of port resonance before. Bass is strong and clear with zero chuffing, turbulence, or distortion. Plus you can mount them closer to the back wall than a normal port.

Nice Quality

Nice Quality Part. I needed the 4" tubes for my enclosure. One set arrived quickly the other took awhile due to being back ordered. The only thing I did not like is I had to drill the hole larger than my port size to accommodate the inlet ring. Otherwise there is no whistling and easy to put together.

Great product that really improves sound quality

This is a really great port. Virtually no port whistle. Easy to follow instructions and a calculator tool on their website. Made a huge difference in the sound of my sub over the standard round port.

Boom Boom Pow.

Excellent fit and finsh. Good for what it needs to be. Use the online calculator though, its alot easier to understand than the instructions in the box.

Great port

I am very happy with this 3 inch port. It is one of the nicest and easiest to use ports available. While it i's true that the parts didn't fit together as well as the 4 inch port, it was not actually an issue as I put it all together with some pvc cement. 5/5 would buy again

Custom Questions & answers

Question:Will the cutout size in the box be 3 inches for the center tube then just add the flares?
Answer:5 1/4" cutout is confirmed. You can actually use the inner flare end to trace your cutout. It is also exactly 5 1/4" in diameter.

Question:What is the total diameter of the flared peices?
Answer:The 3" precision port has two flared ends. The outside diameter of the smaller (without mounting holes) is 5 and 1/4 inches. The larger (with the 4 screw holes for mounting) is 6 and 1/4 inches.
And while we are at it, the length of the 3" tube is exactly 12 inches. So the total length of the tube and flared ends can be as long 18 inches.

Question:I have 2 Skar zvx-8s in a 2.0cf box would this port be good?
Answer:If you go to Precision Port calculator, you can calculate exactly what size ports would be best for your box build

Question:how long is it?
Answer:Well it comes in 5 pieces. I never used mine. Still sittin around the house. Its about 18-24 inchs long

Question:Will this work on a 1.0 cu ft box for a Sundown X8v2 750rms watts or do I need a smaller diameter?'
Answer:It should be OK. With a 1ft3 box, the 12” length of this port should yield you about 36hz tuning. And just FYI, you almost always want to go with a more port area, instead of less. But, that is not always feasible with smaller boxes.

Question:On diagonal, what are the distance between the mounting holes?
Answer:5 11/16"

Question:is there just one or two tubes in this kit?
Answer:This comes with 3 pieces:
(1) 15" long 3" dia tube (think is 15")
(1) port end that screws flush to box
(1) port end for inside box
You can go to http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp
To help you figure out tone you want and can calculate length of tube you want, then cut down to size, glue the pieces together with PVC glue and install

Question:I’m puttting 2 Rockford p1s4 8” woofers in my truck it calls for 2 2” x8.8 “ ports would like to use 1 3” in just not sure how long for around 36hz
Answer:box volume is required to determine. use the PSP port calculator here: http://www.psp-inc.com/tools2.html

Question:I need 2 3x6 inch ports? How long are these?
Answer:Fully assembled they were 16.5 inches. They come in 3 pieces and the main tube can be cut down to whatever size you need ( I think down to 3.5 inches)

Question:What is the total volume of this port?
Answer:It all depends on the length you have to cut it to for the desired frequency. Precision port has a calculator on their website you can use to determine what diameter and length would work best for your box size and it will tell you the port area.
