★★★★★ Nicely built and is somewhat water resistant with the Berliner coating Verified Purchase These are very well built, come with a nice set of terminals and a very heavy duty coating. I bought these for my boat as we like to put the speakers up on the deck when we sit in the water next to the boat. My last set were painted and got destroyed when a rain storm came through just as we returned to the boat ramp. The coating is thick and heavy duty. I have already gotten them wet and they survived just fine! They have a good seal and my speakers have much better bass then my last boxes. The terminals allow me to easily disconnect them and bring them inside. I bought some fiberfill at a local craft store and filled the cabinet as this helps the bass also ( no need for special speaker filler). Question: Isn't it,,,not so smart to sneak in the word "single" in their description as if only one box? so again to be sure before i order, 2 boxes @ $28.99? Answer: When I ordered them it came as a pair for 28.99.   Question: is it one box or two? Answer: Two speaker boxes in one shipping box.   Question: What are the top width and bottom width as well as height? Answer: Top (back to front) - 5", Bottom (back to front) - 7", Height (top to bottom) - 8", Width - across the front and across the back (same) - 12". Hope this helps! By the way, it is kind of a rough texture - not bad, but NOT like Rhino liner or Dura-liner. Rougher in texture and feel. If it were next to your elbow or knee, in a sudden stop, you would lose skin, for sure. NOT soft, at all. They feel bullet-proof, but I would still use sound deadening pad and polyfill. Maybe sealant in the inside joints - but that's just me. Boxes are durable looking as elephant step stools. They are NICE! HEAVY DUTY! Way cheaper than you could make for yourself. Nice and HEAVY, and completely waterproof. Really, very nice!   Question: Anyone know what these boxes are tuned to ? Answer: They are not ported.
