Always had Roku's but wanted apple TV to watch a couple of things only available on Apple TV. So I purchased a AppleTV unit. The remote is very slender and light weight, and It felt uncomfortable with my sausage fingers.
PRESTO! Think of it and it exists on Amazon. A rubberized case for the Remote. It elevates the remote slightly from a table top. Perfect if you spill a drink. It adds a slight weight and bulk that makes it fell better in your hand. It is rubberized so it has on several occasions protected the remote when dropped on a hardwood floor.
Lastly I chose a bright Green color which has helped me find it.

Bought 2 or these for our Apple TV remotes. The newer touch pad remotes are very slim and slick which makes it easy to drop and hard to hold onto. I bought these silicone cases to help with grip and to help protect against drops. I am glad that I did.
