My comments below are objective and based solely on my own experience with the light.
This review is of the “Auriani 16" Ring Light, 3200k-5600k Color Temperature and Brightness Dimmable LED Ring Light with Tripod Stand and Carrying Bag for Camera, Smartphone, YouTube, Self-Portrait Shooting, 110V-240V.”
It comes with the ring light, a power cord, tripod, camera swivel mount, iPhone mount, instruction booklet, and carry case. It also comes with a little silver double-male screw mount adapter. Be sure you find that inside the carry case and don't lose it (mine was in the corner of the case at the bottom). You’ll need it for attaching an iPhone.
The ring light simply pops onto the top peg of the tripod, and then there’s a wing nut to tighten it. Once attached to the top, it can be swiveled 360 degrees horizontally, and then 90 degrees all the way face down to 90 degrees all the way face up. The range of motion is very good, and there are wing nuts to tighten it in any position.
The minimum height of the ring light when attached to the tripod is 30 inches (bottom of the ring) / 37 inches (center of the ring). The maximum height of the ring light when attached to a fully extended tripod is 72 inches (bottom of the ring) / 80 inches (center of the ring). That height is really impressive. Moreover, you don’t have to use the tripod at all. There’s also an eyehole on the top back of the ring light (see photo), so you can also hang it wherever you want.
It comes with a 10-foot power cord, which is detachable from the light. I would have preferred if it came with a longer 20-30 foot cord, especially when plugging it in when mounted to a fully extended tripod. But I guess that’s what extension cords are for.
Now on to the light itself:
The instructions don’t say what lux range it is, but it is bright, and the color temperature (i.e., bright white to warm/yellow white) is 3200-5600 Kelvin, from yellow to white.
On the back of the light are an On/Off switch, Dimmable (brightness) knob, and Color Temperature knob. The simplicity is admirable. You can achieve any combination of brightness/temperature you want for your desired application.
It comes with a ball swivel for mounting a camera. However, I’d probably only mount a light-weight point-and-shoot camera or iPhone, rather than any larger or heavier SLR .... the tripod is not that robust. If you’re indoors on a solid floor, it’s fine, but outdoors with wind etc, you might not get a good time-lapse. There’s probably a way to take the ring light and mount it on another tripod, but I’m not sure how to do it. It would have been good if this ring light came with a screw mount adapter so you can attach it to another tripod. However, this comment only pertains to those who might want to use this light right for heavy-duty, outdoor use with a heavy SLR. For indoors with an iPhone, the tripod is plenty adequate enough.
In my case, however, I am not intending to use this ring light for photography. The Auriani Ring Light is a great work light. You can put it anywhere and adjust the brightness and color temperature for whatever you’re working on. Sure, I have regular shoplights, but those have only two modes: Off and Blazing Sun. I do sewing (handstitching and sewing machine), craftwork, woodwork, intricate electronic work ..... often wishing I had more light. Sometimes I wear a headlamp, just so I can see better what I’m working on. There are plenty of tabletop worklights out there, but one thing I really like about this Auriani ring light is its infinitely adjustable brightness and temperature. For example, I’ll want super bright white light when doing needlepoint. For working on electronic boards, however, a super bright white light would just reflect too much off the components .... but with this ring light, I can turn down the brightness and soften it, just to get as much light as I need. That’s a huge plus. I know these ring lights are advertised mostly for photography, but I can see so many other very useful applications—in addition to the above: painting, grilling, ambient light in any room (just put the light behind a piece of furniture and and point it at the ceiling), working on car engines, etc.
If there was anything that could be improved, I can suggest (1) provide a longer power cord and (2) provide an option for battery power.

The Awesome:
1. Sturdy - The tripod is very wide at the base, thus very stable. The bars are thick and are held in place with adjustable bolts. It's not moving anywhere when I set it up.
2. Brightness - This thing goes from barely lit to sunlight with the twist of a knob. I also like the warm light setting. It's a lot nicer than I was expecting. I rarely use warm lighting, but this makes for a pretty realistic video.
3. Ball Mount. It's small, but it holds in place pretty well, even under load. I am able to tilt my Canon Vixia toward the floor without any sagging or loss of stability.
The Good:
1. REAL POWER CABLE. None of this USB nonsense that's become such a craze lately. I had to buy a special adapter for my old light. This one I can just plug in. Useful EVERYWHERE.
2. Carrying case. It's got a pretty standard nylon bag, but it's big enough to fit everything and a few extras. Glad to have it, especially when I take this with me on the road.
3. Phone Mount - It's pretty standard, but it holds the phone and expands to accommodate larger screens.
I've used this for a few videos today...No complaints at all. This is a huge improvement over the older USB powered ring lights. The light stand is metal, and as long as you tighten your clamps, your camera shouldn't drop.
While the ball head attachment is metal, I found it easier to attach a DSLR without the lens. I had to screw in my DSLR into the ball head attachment. With a longer lens, this is not possible. Also, your camera neck strap needs to be moved out of the way if you are trying to attach your camera to the ball head attachment. I wish their was a more convenient way to do this.
The phone holder attachment is plastic. Fitting the phone into it was hard due to the amount of resistance from the attachment. Once screwed in, my phone was not level. On top of that, due to the number of revolutions required to turn in the attachment, if you plan to use either your phone's front or rear camera, you will need to plan ahead how to position the phone before you screw it in. I would like to see a better phone attachment.
The two dials on the ring light are pretty straight-forward. I got decent results for portraits with both phone and mirrorless camera. I have not tried macro shots yet, but I suppose you could use this ring light for that purpose.
Since I would shoot portraits with this or maybe video, I would like to see warmer temperatures on the ringlight. Pros:
-Very tall, I'm 1.8m tall and this was way taller than me when fully extended.
-Long cable, about 3 meters. If you have it extended at about 1.5m, that's 1.5m away from the outlet if you want the cable to be touching the ground.
-Sturdy, very good build quality.
-Powerful light, and comes with a handy dimmer on the back.
-Temperature control, it lets you set the light color temperature easily.
-It also comes with a nice bag for transportation and storage.
Cons:
-The one con that I found is that the legs could be a bit longer. The ring light comes with an adjustable cell phone holder and a ball mount that you install in the center of the light ring. I don't think this ball mount is suitable for heavy cameras. The light ring can also swivel 360 degrees and can pivot vertically 180 degrees.
The stand feels very sturdy and is adjustable from 1.6 ft to 5.3 ft. I don't see why you couldn't use it as an extra tripod when the ring light is not in use.
