Decent media actually.

So I bought two of these 50gb 25 disc spindles. I have so far burned thru the first spindle and have started on 2nd. The very first disc gave me a sense key error and did not complete burn. I have not had one of those since DVD days. But every single other disc has burned fine and plays/loads fine in BD player. I discovered that PLex discs were not working. Every single disc on that manufacturer whoever makes them I don't know but those were ALL bad and my BD player would not play them. Switched to Ridata and I'm pleased so far. Working my way thru the 2nd spindle.

Only thing, they are marked as 6x discs but I can only burn at 4x max. I don't know why but it's not a big deal.

Solid and reliable - no coasters in the stack

I found these BD-R DL discs to be very reliable. It's way too soon to be talking about longevity but I can say that I haven't had a single coaster in all the ones that I have used. I like the 50Gb discs for most uses - large enough to store a decent amount of data while still being at a very competitive price. I have used the 100Gb discs but they are expensive and, at this point, not as reliable.

My recommendation is stick with 50Gb discs like these for the moment.

Good discs

I use these to back up my 1080p BD collection, and haven't had one issue related to the discs. I coastered two due to operator error. One thing of note is that with ANY disc, be it DVD or BD, I don't burn at max rated speed. These are rated for a 6x burn, and the three I tried there did NOT fail, but in the past, I have had issues with another brand having issue at max rated speed during the layer transition. I burn at 4x with these, and sure, it takes a little longer, but never a coaster. To me, that's time saved.

Not bad

Works well.
Twice cheaper than Verbatim. 1 bad disk out of 10 so far. Still good odds. I will buy again.
