really clean lenses?

I've been using this for many years. I generally use a lens pen after blowing the lens off; but if there is anything visible after that, this is my secret weapon. A tiny amount on lens tissue, or, now that they've gotten much less expensive, sensor pads. What looked clean before is suddenly cleaner.

I boughht these bottles for our laser cutter at work, to clean the lens on it—again, what seemed "clean" before is suddenly performing slightly better.

Wonderful stuff. This is my quick cleaner for goop that gets on telescope eyepieces when I'm doing public outreach. Not suitable for final cleaning but it will remove almost anything, including pine pollen. Final cleaning with methanol or acetone recommended, this stuff often leaves a residue but the nasty goop is cleaned off.

I used this product years ago when it first came out and I was still doing film photography. It is the most efficient cleaner I have EVER used, and if you think a surface is clean and unmarred, it WILL show you the true condition of it. You might be shocked to find out how your eyeglasses really are...but you won't be let down by it's quality. I suggest you use it with lintless lens type cloths so you don't risk scratching a surface. Another reviewer said that it left a residue, but that wasn't my experience...but you'll see how effective it is if you spill any of it on your skin!
