I cannot suggest this enough. I'm using it for a 14-inch surge protector with 7 cables.

We have incorporated two strong magnets in our lid to ensure that the lid is difficult to open for small children however we cannot guarantee that with enough strength, it cannot be opened. This is why we also added the holes in the bottom to act as ventilation when on the floor, but also give you the option to mount the box out of reach of children. We hope that helps!
