Very solid
I used the pair of these to attach a 10' long 1-3/4" OD steel conduit being used as a mast for my weather station to the gable area of a storage shed. They are very solid and easily handle this conduit size (vs what the product description indicates). I wish they made them in 1" depth increments, as a 5" standoff would have been great. As it is, I placed 3/4" thick strips ripped from a 2x4 under them to get the additional clearance I needed to get past the roof overhang. They are probably a bit over-priced for what you get (you can find them cheaper elsewhere, but not when shipping is added in), but they are well made.

good buy for the price
Bought these to help sturdy my outdoor TV antenna. I only needed one and yes it work "great". Mounted it at the eve where I had a metal strap across the pole. works great the TV antenna did not blow around in the storms we get. The only down flow(my own Fault was to "support" the bottom of the pole that the antenna is mounted to(needless to say "now" it is). It worked "great" until I had a storm rolled in. Antenna was blown over pointing straight up in the sky. All was good nothing "broke"(mount was good and "still attached" to the house) just had to mount something on the bottom of the pole to keep it from tipping over again. Would recommend this product.

Sturdy and includes all install hardware...
Bought another brand few years ago, paid more and they are not as sturdy! They worked, but these are made from thicker metal.
Really like the fact real bolts are included. The lag bolts seem quality and heads are very unlikely to twist off (I always drill a point hole though to prevent such).
Not much to say about them except they get the job done and feel very comfortable my antenna mast is secure.

Side of garage mount for antenna mast
After considering a roof mount tri-pod mount, I decided it would be easier to mount my antenna mast on the side of the garage than making it roof mount. So far, so good.

Works as intended
Bought this to mount an antenna pole to the side of a cabin. I used galvanized fence toprail and this has no problem holding it in place. Would buy again.

All directional HDTV antenna
Added 4 feet to my HDTV antenna pole without fear. Just make sure you lag bolt them into something sturdy. I backed up my house sheathing with another layer of plywood behind for added support

Excellent for the money
I was skeptical because of the price but I pulled the trigger anyway. Brackets arrived early and did not seem cheap. They are holding a 10 foot 3/4 electric conduit I have a Ham antenna mounted on it and seems very The fasteners were of decent quality. Time will tell

Secure support.
The bracket was sturdy and fit correctly with no adjustment. I did provide longer screws to attach the bracket to the pole, but that was no problem.

Heavy heavy gauge. Easily holds a long, heavy antenna. Will purchase again.
Question & Answer
Question :
CAn this handle a 20 foot antenna pole?
Answer :
I have a 20’ antenna pole held up with one of these mounts on my house and the bottom is secured in the ground. It is holding fine.
Question :
Are these mounts galvanized?
Answer :
They are not galvanized. Looks like they have a light anodized coating. The nuts, bolts, U bolts are zinc coated .
Question :
Is this available in stainless steel?
Answer :
I think its corssion resistant already.
Question :
What kind of metal are these?
Answer :
heavy duty steel with a anti rust coating.
Question :
I have a 1-3/4" pole. Will the mount be large enough for the diameter of the pole?
Answer :
With ease. Mine is holding up a pipe (1.75 inch chain link fence horozontal section, 20 foot) vertically with the ground end clamped to the top of a 10 foot ground rod driven 9.5 feet into the ground. It ain't going anywhere! And I have the second mount leftover to boot!
Question :
Will these reach out far enough to allow the pole to accommodate a 4" overhang?
Answer :
Its been a few years since I installed mine but I would believe they should be OK for 4 inch overhang
Question :
Does the 4inch indicate the distance between the wall mounting to the pole?
Answer :
Yes it, about 4" from mounting surface to outer edge of pole.
Question :
what size opening for the mast?
Answer :
It depends on the size pipe you put in it. I would use maybe an inch and a quarter
Question :
Will it handle a 2 1/2" Mast? The 3" product can, but the 4" says it only accepts 1 1/2"???
Answer :
It will if you purchase longer bolts. The length of the included bolts is the limitation. They are 2-1/4".
Question :
These are about half the price of the rohn wm4 brackets. are they as good? looking to use them for a ham antenna mast.
Answer :
Not sure about price but I mounted a private radio band, ground plane antenna to transmit to their trucks. Been there 5 years with no issue
