That depends on the format that your camera uses. If it is Digital-8 60 Minutes, Hi-8 120 minutes.
Please take note! Even though the shell is the same, these tapes will NOT work in a regular 8mm video camera.

Yes it is. Reading the manual it says with your Digital camcorder you can use Hi8 cassettes. Your camcorder records and plays back pictures in the Digital8 system. A YouTube video stated that when recording with Digital8, a 120 minute tape will only give you 60 minutes of recording time in SP mode.
