Not A Gimmick
Verified Purchase
These isolation feet are amazing, a little pricey but they actually do work. I thought they were a gimmick, I was wrong.

I have 2 SVS SB12-NSD's sitting on hardwood floors in our living room and while how incredible these subs sound, they sent vibrations throughout our entire living room and up through the walls as well which vibrated anything attached to our walls including pictures and fixtures.

Did some research and found that isolation pads helped to reduce or eliminate these vibrations and also help to improve the sound quality of the subs, I didn't really care for how they looked especially since they were wider and longer than my subs. From further research I stumbled across these SVS isolation feet and they were a few dollars cheaper than the isolation pads so I thought I'd give them a try and just return them if they didn't really help.

I can say this much, I'm definitely not returning them! They actually work, the vibrations are pretty much gone and they really did improve the sound quality of the bass. As a bonus, I can turn the volume up louder and the bass stays nice and clean. I also checked with my neighbor and he's hearing a lot less bass coming from our place, even when i have the volume up higher.

These are definitely keepers, I just wish that SVS included these standard on their subs, considering SVS has premium products along with premium prices, I don't think it would kill them to just have these on all their subwoofers :)

Don't hesitate, just buy them 👍

I hesitated at first, due to the price when factoring in the import duties 😳 and freight charges to Thailand 🇹🇭 😕, not to mention the exchange rate, and that I needed 2 packs as I have 2 Subs.
But, these insulaters are worth every baht I played for them.
The rattling from inside the ceiling is "gone" and after having done a before and after test with two of my reference bass test soundtracks ( Every Woman, Whitney Houston and Buffalo Soldier, Bob Marley) I can tell you the SVS Isolaters have made a tangible improvement to (both) of my Klipsch R10SW Subs.
Both the tightness and attack of the subs has been improved substantially.
The Isolaters are about twice the height of the Klipsch original feet, which as well as all the benefits listed above, has one other side benefit, the subs look better now 😉.
Fitting of the feet to the 2 subs only took about 10 minutes total.
One of the best sound quality improvements, bang for baht I've made to my surround sound system to date. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Works great with Velodyne DD-15. Less rattles around the house, and tighter, accurate, and more efficient bass output.
Verified Purchase
I use a Velodyne DD-15 sub for mainly home theater use on hardwood floors and experienced lots of rattling around the house during energetic movie scenes. I took a chance on these isolators based on positive reviews as well and the fact I could return if not satisfied. Let's just say I'll be keeping these. Not only are most of the rattles gone, but I was also able to get the same output level with a slightly reduced volume on the sub using the built-in EQ system. This may be due to less energy being transmitted through the floor of the house. Bass seems to be a bit more accurate and focused, and this might just be because I'm not hearing the house rattle as much. I'm very pleased with these and highly recommend. Photo shows the SVS feet compared to the stock Velodyne units.

Perfect solution

I bought these for a pair of SVS SB-4000 subwoofers. Installation is a snap. Simply unscrew the feet that come with the subwoofers and screw in these. They come with 3 different sized sets of screws for multiple applications. When installing on a heavy sub like the 100lb+ SB-4000 make sure you ether slide it into position with a piece of cardboard or similar as these grip on a hardwood floor quite well. While they are made solid I don’t think any such device would hold up to shearing force when on a hard surface with a heavy load. I used a small throw blanket to roll the subs over to install them then push it effortlessly into position and roll to one side at a time to pull the throw blanket out from under the subs. If you have two people with a heavy sub you can lift it into place. Just don’t attempt to slide across a hard surface and they are made not only to isolate vibration they also provide grip to the surface so your sub doesn’t go for a ride across the floor.

Makes you wonder why other SW companies cheap out here...

I've bought these twice for two other mfr's SW's as the feet on them were much harder, like PVC with plasticizer added in. Just too much bass rumbled through the house bouncing my wife around on the couch while she was reading.

In the interests of connubial bliss I opted for putting out the $$ for a set of these for the SW I used the most in my garage setup and liked the effects so much I bought another set of EIGHT for some JBL JRX-125 speakers I use (in the - detached - garage) BUT being as wide as they were, the base of the speakers being relatively narrow, I didn't think they were as stable as I'd need/want so I returned them, eventually wound up buying another set of four for a second SW, just using standard speaker cabinet hard rubber feet for the JBL's.

There ARE other options, other companies making sound isolation feet, you could spend ten times as much and who knows if what you're buying will work as well as the SVS SW isolation system.

Honestly, If I had a few hundred thousand dollars invested in home audio gear (yeah, it's possible) instead of "just" a few thousand (maybe seven), I'd just let the shop doing the installation use their discretion selecting whatever their sound measuring equipment said to use and never look at this price, but I'm not that wealthy.

For the average home audio user, I think these are fine.

SWMBO (my wife) thinks so too.

Made my pb-1000 soooo much better
Verified Purchase
I purchases a svs pb-1000 and was starting to regret it. I read the best settings where with the power in the 1 oclock position but i couldn't come close to a 1/4 of the way there before the rattle was unbearable. My rattle was more like the hole house rattle that made the sub sound louder but not in a good way. I was beginning to think the sub wasn't going to live up to the reviews. So I decided to give these little guys a try and they are amazing. They look like a rubber foot but are more like a mini shock absorber. I did not realize they where spring loaded. Sound is soooo much clearer and clean. I can crank it as loud as I want and the how house still vibrates but you no longer hear it.

Great upgrade for any sub; worth your hard-earned money

Good upgrade for any sub. I have a new Klipsch 10" wireless sub. Works well. Took off the stock feet and put these much, much nicer feet on it in about the time it took me to write this - namely, seconds. Recalibrated the sub. Wow. Noticeable difference. Bass is cleaner, tighter. No extraneous vibrations of the wall or floor at loud volume. Even my wife noticed the improvement. Plus the feet look great; very high end. Add about 1.5" to the height of the sub compared to old feet. A great upgrade for your sub. Highly recommended.

These make a HUGE difference!!!

I already reviewed this purchase but wanted to add another after using them for a few days. My room is tile floor with a very large Persian rug. Before installing these "feet" on my dual Klipsch subs there was a noticeable rattle that is now completely GONE!! The bass sounds much more clear, deep and incredible compared to without them. A 5 min install and boom, they are ready to rock. I also use high end SVS Sound speaker wire with 24k gold banana plugs at the perfect length. I was using Monster cables that were too long, and the shorter distance is helping the bass get a better signal now. These are a must have for any audiophile who likes a lot of bass that is clean and hits hard!!!

I wear $50 shoes so don’t scoot me

Terrific for the right rooms. I have a basement with a concrete floor with wood laminate over the top of the concrete. Many reviews say it’s great for wood but not concrete..... well I wasn’t sure what category I was in. I know that it does make a difference on my floor. It didn’t stop all rattles, but it reduced the rattles enough that I could increase the -dB on the PB-3000. My wife actually noticed and couldn’t normally give a rip. There is your truth factor. So if you have wood laminate and you’re getting bounce from the floor, this will do the trick. Just the slight elevation and the rubber shock absorbers are all my sub needed. One word of caution. For $50 you best pick your sub up and not scoot it. Rubber scooted will more than likely tear. Don’t risk it. If you have the 175lb and above sub... that’s your fault. They are cool sounding but picking them up and moving them are no joke. I’ll stick to my 86lb sub. 😉

Epic isolation!

Yup, so…these things are fantastic. I’ve got numerous subwoofers in the house, Yamaha, Definitive, ADAM, and some others. In my living room, I am using Definitive ProSub 1000s, two of them. Those little subs pack a punch, but one issue I have with them is that the feet Definitive puts on them are not the best. They’re ok, but sometimes your subs can jump around and cause clicking noises from the feet bouncing on hardwood floors.

I’ve tried spikes, spikes on pads, etc, but honestly nothing worked well except spikes on pads, but it was kind of a MacGyvered solution. I finally gave into these feet and so glad I did.

Yes, the hole is big, but it’s also coated with a rubberized material and I used washers for my screws. I ended up screwing into the enclosure using different mounting points than where Definitive placed their feet, but it worked wonderfully.

The subs don’t jump or slide, there are no clicking noises and the bass is CRISP and clean. Honestly don’t think there’s better isolation on the market. It’s worth every penny, buy these - you will not regret it!!

I wouldnt drill your expensive cabinet without making sure you’re drilling in the clearest place and also vacuum after so no debri remains after drilling.
