After selling my Anafi and upgrading to the Mavic Air 2, I was looking around for a case to replace the cheap Harbor Freight case I used on my previous drone. I saw this, and since I didn't have the smart controller, thought this might fit the bill for protecting my new investment. The case is a solid choice for the Mavic Air 2.
Pros:
1. Slim - the case is no bigger and no smaller than it needs to be. Makes travel with my drone easier since it takes up less room in the car with my family + two dogs.
2. Precision cutouts - When they said these cutouts (for the batteries, controller, drone, etc) were precision cut, they really meant it. The fit on everything is snug without being problematic.
3. Tough plastic - the case material itself is tough as any other case you might find out there. I dropped it a few times (on accident) from a few feet above onto concrete and only managed to slightly scuff the corner where it hit.
Cons
1. Price - for the price I paid, you might get an equally solid case for your drone with a few more bells and whistles (such as optional cutouts for the regular controller AND the smart controller).

I'm using this for a DJI Air 2S with the Smart Controller. I haven't even fully sorted out how I am going to configure this, but I don't need to sort that out before taking time to give this a five star review. I am thoroughly, thoroughly pleased with this product! It's pretty ingenious how they cut the foam so many different ways to give you the option to use the case with a variety of accessories.
Considering how thoughtfully designed and useful this item is, I am mildly disappointed that the space they carved out specifically for the ND filters will not work with the Air 2S filters. The case is too large. Oh well. I'm sure I will find somewhere else to put the filters. The other quibble I have is that it was rather difficult to remove the insert from the storage location of the 6th battery. I ended up tearing that up so badly, I just trashed it. The other foam pieces left over, I'm saving, because I might end up wanting to reconfigure the case in the future, and that is definitely an option.
I have no idea how they cut the foam to make this. A water jet maybe? The cuts are very precise and clean. The foam is very dense, and I feel like it will provide excellent protection. The case itself has a very sturdy, solid feel, and I have little doubt that it will hold up to life's bumps and thumps handily.
It has been a long time since I got this excited about a product. If this product is representative of the kind of things these folks design and manufacture, then SYMIK is definitely a brand to watch. |

It's like a puzzle where you can add & remove the foam fillers to put in anything you need. I got my entire FlyMore kit, my MavMount, my iPad mini, the landing pad and more with places to spare for more "stuff." I accidentally found this case on YouTube looking at reviews of drones. Was just about to get a different one but the "bottom storage" clinched the deal. The reviewer said this case was a "hidden gem" and he was correct. There was another similar case by a German company for about 3X the price and virtually identical. If there was just one minor little I could come up with it is that there is no provision for a shoulder strap. |

First, you can store the controller face down with the sticks attached (a HUGE plus) and there is extra storage under there as well. I stored the extra blades and the extra controller/phone cables. Great case because it can adapt.
I have the DJI Air 2S Combo, DJI phone hood, 7" Galaxy S2 tablet (works great), folding tablet holder from the VFW store on Amazon, and landing pad by ACROTOR from Amazon. I also have the extended data cable for my tablet from the Hanatora Store on Amazon. DJI for some reason is happy to sell a tablet holder but they do not have longer USB cables...I asked.
I took out all but the last two layers in the bottom of the case and it fits my tablet, phone hood (plastic bracket up) and extra props. Yes I even put extra props under the remote controler since it has removable blocks. I folded up my landing pad and put on the right side. It fits snug but not damaging. Good enough for taking on a plane trip. Otherwise I'll just use a small carabiner for the lading pad bag. I have room for two more batteries if I leave one installed the aircraft for short periods of time. |

I am a brand new drone pilot and after looking at other expensive drone cases and suggested cases more than $100.00 this serves the purpose. and it's less than $100.00
The only thing I would like to see improved is maybe a hidden storage compartment on the top side of the case for storage of important flight documents & your log & maintenance books and maybe additional blades. I like the pouch for storing your blades too. Very nice!
I also like the cardboard explaining the various places of storage. Even small slits for additional storage of your micro-SD card.
Keep in mind that you will need to remove the additional foam for your Air 2S controller to fit. I am overly pleased with this.
I wanted to update my review. There IS additional storage under the area for the drone. Just lift up and there you have it. See the last image. This is GREAT |

What a great case for my DJI AIR2S. For the price and functionality, it is hard to beat. I was able to neatly fit EVERYTHING for my drone inside:

6 sets of extra blades;
and more.
There are foam inserts that you can remove to accommodate any extra items.
Also included is a large pictorial diagram suggesting which foam pieces should be removed to accommodate the model you have. (Mavic Air 2 or DJI Ais 2S). A lot can fit securely inside while being protected. There's a removable solid foam protector piece in the bottom of the case and another one in the lid.

I looked at every case available for the DJI Air2S. This one met all my requiremensts plus more. I have all the whistles and bells for the Air2S and wanted a case to organize and carry every item. This case came with a large layout description that helps utilization of every nook and cranny. The foam is firm to support everything with being a coarse hard foam. These guys must use the cases themselves as the engineering is superb the case is rigid and the closing and locking system is as good as it gets.

The only slight downside to this case might be its size. Compared to my other cases, it is much larger/heavier. If you have alot of accessories and a Smart controller then this is definitely the case to get, otherwise you might need something smaller. |
