| I have had problems with lesser cables picking up noise from my AV monitors (yes, I mean Brand H). The shielding in these keeps them extremely quiet. When it comes to cables, I'm in that camp that says, "If you can't hear or measure a difference, there is none." If you can actually hear the wire, then there's something wrong with inadequate shielding or excess capacitance being the usual suspects. No need to pay way too much for boutique interconnect cables anymore. In a blind test between these and Brand M, you will not hear a difference (yea, I have some of those, too). If you're the type who hears with your eyes, you'll be pleased with the look, weight and feel of the cable and connectors that look like Brand N (but aren't). BTW, I measured and the 6' cable length does not include the connectors—you get what you pay for. Yes! They come in various lengths and, when I need more, I'll buy these. |
