Great cable!

This cable works great with my Unifi SFP module! I get a great signal (No degradation) and the cable is very well constructed!

It DOES fit in a 1/2 or 3/4in electrical conduit, although you want to be very gentle while installing it of course. I used a LC coupler and a set of LC keystone jacks on each end.

Answer :

Yes but it's fiber

What size conduit is needed to pul the ends through cleanly?

Answer :

We usually run 2 in 1.25 orange flexi conduit

This is a 152 Meter cable (500 feet) ... does it come on a spool? Pull Box?

Answer :

It Comes on a spool in a regular box. I had to put the spool on a wheel.

Is this cable plenum rated?

Answer :

I do not believe so. It does not specify that it is and it is made with a PVC jacket which is not a plenum rated material. In fact, it can probably safely be said that PVC cable jackets are why they had to come up with plenum ratings to specifically exclude the material. Very toxic smoke when it burns. Plenum rated materials are generally more expensive and if they are plenum rated, they are going to specifically advertise that fact.

Can this cable be run through an outdoor conduit about 385 ft? Would this be recommended?

are these recomendable for an outdoor overhead use. wanting to connect 2 buldings aprox 250 ft away.

Answer :

I would never connect a fiber cabel outdoor overhead, you have to use a pvc tube.

Can the this cable be ran in wall to a keystone on both ends? If so what keystone would work well with these?

How durable/strong is the cable? Hoping to pull 3 cables about 300' through 2" conduit. The conduit currently has installed 7 thick CAT6A cables.

Answer :

My money is on you damaging the cable. I wasn't there when my maintenance guys tried to do a similar project for me (just pulling some fiber patch cable through existing conduit with a single CAT5E cable in it) and ruined both of them. Doesn't seem like it should be a problem if you are careful... maybe my guys are just meat heads... but in my case I ended up having to start a completely new construction project, trench in new conduit and do a 6-strand fiber connection between the buildings (the right way) because my guys couldn't get the patch cables through existing conduit.
