| I received the universal laptop projector tripod stand yesterday. It is amazingly easy to set up and it will work perfectly for my new mini projector. I needed something that could sit on top of a table or extend to stand alone on the floor. This tripod fits the bill. It’s very sturdy and strong enough to hold my laptop. The top of the stand is flat and can easily spin or turn at an angle. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone. The price is especially good. |

I set my laptop on it when I need more workspace and feel fully confident with the pressure of typing away on it, I've used it to hold a large projector, used it to hold books, multiple heights and angles. It does reach the maximum height advertised, you can adjust the width of the legs if you need to have the stand in a narrow space and/or to reach the maximum height. Has a safety pin so the table part won't suddenly drop down and there are four knobs to secure the top so even if a couple somehow magically get loose, it's not going to give way or suddenly tilt. I love this thing. I use it one way or another every day. |

This stand was exactly what I was looking for; most similar stands are much taller and would not have worked for me. The stand folds up small and is lightweight, but also quite sturdy. I'm using it to support a small bass amplifier, which weighs about 30 pounds. It's very stable.
I'm giving a 5-star rating for the product because it fits my needs perfectly, and is a really good value. There were some issues along the way however. The first stand I received had a broken part (a t-shaped piece had broken at the weld). Pyle customer service was very responsive, and quickly sent me a replacement. That replacement however was a different diameter, and the weld was not a 90 degree angle, but rather about 20 degrees off. Which would have caused the table to tilt to the side. Fortunately Pyle then sent me a replacement unit, which was in perfect condition. I hope they are able to address their QC issues (the rep claims the damage was probably in shipping, but I'd say that is a stretch), so other buyers don't have to suffer the same hassles. |

I am using the stand to support a Roland Integra 7 sound module. Although this is not an intended use, I was hoping it would work out, and it works better than I could have hoped for. Then Integra weighs only 9 lbs so it is well within the weight limits. It hangs over each side by about 2 inches, but it does not create a stability problem as long as the unit is centered over the pole. Overall it is very solid and stable. A couple of comments on the reviews. Several suggest putting double sided stickie pads on to make sure whatever you were putting on the stand did not slide off. I was prepared to do this even though I hate putting that stuff on my gear. But through dumb luck protrusions on the bottom of the Integra caught
The lips on the stand just right, front and back. So it is solidly in place, even tilted back.
Finally, one reviewer gave it one star. One of his major complaints was that the stand was designed with not enough clearance to turn the wing nuts. This is true. His solution was smaller wing nuts,. I am terrible at putting this stuff together, but it did not take me long to figure out that all you needed to do is get the wing nut started, the tighten the bolt with a screw driver from the top. |

I believe it is weighted at the bottom to keep it from toppling over, which I love! I use it to hold our projector as well as a flat surface to do my paintings on. I can see how it can also be used as a laptop stand as well, but it's just not wide enough to fit your mouse on it. I would say its purpose is more to serve as a projector stand. the PLPTS2 22.0-35.0 is a nice little tray type stand/table. Pyle has a hit, it is very easily assembled, very level and sturdy. It will work well for several electronic items, my laptop sit well and I plan to use as a projector table.
It is very level, very well built and very sturdy with the tripod adjustable legs and heights. I am now looking to buy a bigger one with a bigger tray and reach higher 28.0-50.0 inches in height, as I have several options I can use this for.

The tray is made of a sturdy-gauge plastic with a non-slip texture, and it can be tilted either direction. The tray is mounted on a metal tripod stand that can be folded. The stand has a top clamp that allows for height adjustment. I bought this matte black stand to use for a projector, but I now see that I can use it for so much more. As some other reviewers have stated, if you have the mount table oriented as a flat surface, it is a few inches taller that advertised. I used a tubing cutter (plumbing tool) to cut 2 inches off the base tube and slightly less than 2 inches off the extension tube to get the precise minimum height I need. Unbeatable quality for this price point. |
