Not PD at least not charging my pixel 2xl (Update)

I don't know if it is a defective unit but it only charges my phone at 540mA (Pixel 2Xl)
Charges faster a older anker charger that i have, anker reached out to me and sent me a replacement at that moment they didn't have the exact same one and sent me this one instead (USB C Car Charger, Anker 49.5W PowerDrive Speed+ 2 Car Adapter with One 30W PD ) which is working perfectly fine
Thank you Anker for the great customer service

Do your research first! Don't be another complaining idiot. smh.

Works great for my Pixel 2, Nintendo Switch, and my RavPower 10K portable battery pack. Make sure you use a high quality certified USB C to USB C 3.0+ PD cable for best results. Usually $12+ for a 3-foot cable. Charges all my devices in rapid/quick charge mode without issues. I don't recommend trying to charge 2 devices at once as it doesn't have the true capacity for that load. It was designed for 1 x 30 watts output. If you need to charge 2 devices at once and each one draws 2 to 3 amps, then you need to invest in a Gallium nitride (GaN) charger with a 60-watt dual output. Again please do your research before making a purchase and leaving a stupid review.

Another typical Anker product

Great quality, works exactly as advertised and won't do damage to the stuff you plug in or the port it is plugged into.

At this point, when I'm looking for a new peripheral, cable, charger etc., I ask "does Anker sell it", then I go straight there, read the one star reviews, discount the "I bought the wrong size" etc. reviews and then look at the three and four star reviews as they tend to be more reliable as the five stars (says the guy who just gave this a five star review).

What would I do differently? I'd spend a bit more time differentiating the product lines - there are too many choices in each product category and it is often difficult to figure out what the differences are.

Anker stuff isn't cheap, but it is reliable and you know what you are getting.

Charges Quickly, even when attached to a secondary charging cable for a tablet mount.

I use this charger 6 days a week at work and the only issue I have is the aux ports that I have to plug it into. This charges my Samsung Note 10+ with no issues and keeps it charged. I am also using a Anker usb-c to usb-c cable to attach it to my phone.
There have been times I have had to attach my usb-b to usb-micro cable that uses the other port to the cable from the tablet mount in the company trucks I drive to get our tablets to charge due to the low quality cable they have hardwired into the trucks and this charger can handle both my phone and the tablet mount with no issues. The tablet in the mount is a Samsung Tab A, so not a power hungry tablet, but a tablet none the less.
I would totally buy this again, unless they came out with one that had 3 ports instead of just the 2.
While I dislike the light ring to indicate that it is charging, I normally don't notice it and it is a help to see if it is loose in the AUX port as the truck I use it in are fairly old, 15+ years.
Pros
Can charge my phone and the company's tablet or my phone and my JBL charge 3 without issue.

Cons
Only 2 ports I would like to have 3, 1 usb-c and 2 usb-b
Light ring.

In love

I tried to this product and so far it has charged my iPhone extremely fast, I did not think that my iPhone can reach from 8 to 72 in just 23 minutes. I guesstimated that it charges 2 percent a minute.

I highly recommend this product for the car, I do not have a fast charger at home, I do not believe that I need a fast charger at home since I spend so many hours at home any way so I have no need for a fast charger.

But when I am outside I need a fast way to charge my iPhone given the uncertainty and circumstances surrounding me. So a mere 20 minute drive could bring my iPhone to the higher end of charge with this fast car charger.

My recommendation to get the full potential is to get a USB C to Lightening cable to get the full power delivery capabilities from this device. Either get the original cable from Apple or get Anker cable which I got and found of high quality and material, read my review on that cable if you are interested.

Solid product

So far, this product has been worth the price. The build quality is solid and I haven't had any issues with any of the connections. I mainly wanted this one for the USB-A and USB-C dual connections. I am currently using it with a OnePlus 6t. It does not dash charge (I knew this ahead of time), but still charges at a decent speed. I am happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Another great Anker product

I’ve essentially started purchasing Anker products for all my after market needs. From their car chargers, to wireless chargers, cables, standard chargers, and battery banks. I’ve never had one fail, quality issues, or performance issues.

This is just another great Anker product.

Tested it last night and I get the advertised charging capacity on my iPhone XS Max.

To note, you need the Apple certified Type c to lightning power delivery cable. No other cable I’ve found works.

To those that test the capacity performance on their iOS device, you must follow the directions. The phone must be between 50-70% to receive the most accurate rating. Otherwise it won’t give you accurate results. Also keep in mind that the speeds can vary wildly as the testing methodology for iOS is different because it doesn’t have direct access to the metrics it’s attempting to read.

Little bulky, but powerful

This sticks out about an inch more than the tiny flush flat ones, but what you get in exchange is a much much faster charge. I have an iPad mini that lives in the car and it was constantly dead when plugged into a tiny flush iPhone style socket charger. But with this one, it gets so much more charging power that it is always nearly full. If space is at a premium due to a cup holder or something right in front of your socket this might not be perfect, but it is definitely a fast and powerful charger.

Solidly built USB C charger for iPhone X

This product is a solidly built car charger with support for fast charging on my iPhone X! I trust Anker for pretty much all my aftermarket accessories, and they did not disappoint.
Not much to add here, it either works, or it doesn't, this unit works just fine. I have no complaints, as it does its job. There's a blue led light when it is powered on. However, I keep it in my storage compartment, so I do not see it.
All in all, I recommend it!

Best fast charger that I have found thus far

I have purchased multiple 12v chargers with varying degrees of satisfaction. This one is my favorite so far. I have used this on a Chevy Camaro, Ford Expedition, and a Kia Soul. In each case this charger has worked flawlessly on a variety of android devices. I recently installed a couple of mobile wireless chargers for my Samsung Note and Pixel 4. This adapter supplies the necessary power for those wireless chargers as well. As mentioned, I have tried other brands and mobile chargers as well. This is the one so far that supports fast charging on my devices. One of the other 12 volt chargers couldn't keep a Pixel 2 charged while navigating. I replace that one with this charger in the same car and now everything works fine.

Question :

Is it "super fast charging"?

Answer :

I was really surprised at how well this works. Make sure you have cables rated to “fast charge” your device first off. It charges my iPhone 11 and I pad pro 11 inch both as fast as they both can be charged. I was also surprised the charger did not get hot. Note the number of “W” some of these fast charges will only charge one device fast at a time. As far as Apple products this works great for me. And they are not paying for this review FYI
