All the Hz

I bought a new monitor that is capable of 165 hz. Unfortunately, I used the cable that came with the monitor and I couldn't get past 60hz for some reason. Multiple people online said it could be the cable. I bought this cable and BOOOOM, problems solved and I can now max out the setting for my monitor. Can't believe the company sent me some generic cable that is not capable of pushing their monitor, but I guess companies will do anything to save money.

Great cable and I would definitely recommend. It is a solid built cable and is working flawlessly on my pc.

Long and Stiff
Verified Purchase
I've never tried DP before but it's a lot better than I'm used to. The product itself is a good length and it is very thick. I had a hard time putting it in the right hole cause as it was a little resistance to bending the way I needed it to.

I had flickering on my ultra-wide 1440p 100hz monitor, and this fixed it.
Verified Purchase
I use ultra-wide monitor with 1440p resolution and 100hz refresh rate. It was turning black for few seconds every now and then multiple times a day.
It might be overkill to use 8k cable for technically 2k monitor, but maybe interference from power cables or other electronics. I got this one, and the picture is stable for the last couple days.

The cable looks like a good quality one.

PC Display Port cable in 4K UHD, Clearer enhanced picture, Whoa! 😁
Verified Purchase
This is not a HDMI cable. This is a display port cable for a PC, Laptop and Some projectors for 4K enhanced picture quality. Amazing picture quality with my PC. I gently took out the cable and plugged it in my screen and PC. Big great difference between 1080p and this 4K picture quality cable, whoa! 😲Quality rope type of cable so smooth and sturdy(See pics). Quality made cable for my PC. I would definitely recommend this cable at such a great low price.

Very happy with this cable so far, hope it lasts!

I just got a new computer that has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060Ti graphics card. I have a BenQ SW2700PT monitor that I had been using with a DVI-I connection because that was the only port on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 when it shipped from Dell. I had no trouble connecting the monitor to the new graphics card with this cable (it was stiff, but not overly so) and was blown away by the difference in the visual quality I am getting with this new combination. This is awesome!

I don't know much about cables, but I bought this one because it seemed to be the best one and am very glad I did. I just hope it holds up well over time, as some reviews indicated that it died after a few months of use. Everything about it seemed high quality, based on the look and feel, and the performance so far is top notch. May it remain so!

Works as advertised for getting high refresh rates
Verified Purchase
Having just got a 165Hz monitor, I frequently got screen blanking because my old DisplayPort cable can only reliably send 60Hz signals even though the 120Hz option was available in Windows. When I set the refresh rate in Windows to a rate above 60Hz, the old cable cannot hold the signal together and my screen started blanking. After I replaced my old cable with this cable, the 165Hz rate became available. When I set the rate to 165Hz, I was amazed by the clarity of my mouse movements and noticed a better responsiveness in moving my mouse. There was no blanking at all. I even confirmed the refresh rate with my monitor OSD menu. It said 165Hz. This cable truly does what it advertises. You won't be disappointed.

Great cable

It works really well as a cable. Well made, secure fit and provide a great image.

However there a common issue with braided cables. This cable was for a PC monitor and the lack of flexibility made it difficult to install. CONSIDER when purchasing. The braid reduces flexibility. This is a common point with the braided type. You have to consider where your connection port is located. If it will make a tighter bend the braided cables do not have as much flex as a standard cable would. I one case at our church we had to go back to the standard rubber jacketed cable for the flexibility on the back of different equipment. Forcing the needed flex can ruin the connections inside the cable, therefore the cable became useless.

Display Port 1.4 is Legit
Verified Purchase
Legit cable which can be hard to find. This is truly a Display Port 1.4 cable as my HDR is finally working with my screen at 15ft of distance. I can also span my displays correctly without losing their order. I am very content with this purchase as the price and quality were both well worth it. Yes, this cable is thick which is what was expected, but I did manage to bend it enough to fit as needed. No, it did not come with a lock, but I see no reason to deduct a star for that as the cable is working properly in a 1.4 configuration.

Worked great for 3 weeks then died. Capshi reached out and replaced it, so I'm happy. Nice Cable.

Looked high quality and worked great for about 3 weeks. Cable was plugged in once and never touched again. Out of nowhere, the cable stopped working. I was able to unplug it and plug it back in a few times to get it to work, until it eventually just stopped all together. **Update:** Capshi reached out to me and sent me a new cable. I think it says a lot that they actually reached out, to offer a replacement. I should've contacted them when it first happened. I appreciate it. Happy to have a new 1.4DP cable. All good in the end, so I decided to go 5 stars.

Good cable

I have this running from my computer to a 49" curved 4K Samsung G9 monitor which is getting video signal from a RTX3090. Works perfect. Eliminated flickering, made my refresh rate more consistent and it also seemed to improve the clarity a bit. Amazing what a quality cable will do. This this is THICK though so it made wire management and cable-bends kind of tough. But I'd rather have a tough cable, then one with just plastic heatshrink on it that will tear from normal use. A+

Question:Does this cable work with PS5 in 4k?
Answer:Dear customer,
Thanks for your question.
This DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable can not be used in PS5 but HDMI to HDMI cable can.
Thanks for your inquiry and support.
Have a good day!

Question:We confirm that the product is not vesa certified; no membership renewal process has ever been initiated. we request capshi to stop using our dp logo?
Answer:The poster might be correct, visited the DisplayPort certification website on 2022Feb17 and this vendor, in addition to numerous others selling cables here, are not included on the list as offering VESA certified cables. So let buyers decide for themselves. I'm shopping cables now and decided to only purchase certified products from vendors on the list to help ensure my equipment remains as safe against damage as possible. Don't want my lawyers deciding over lunch I didn't perform my due diligence.

Question:is it compatible with the mini display port on a 2011 iMac?
Answer:No, a mini display port is smaller than a regular display port. You could use this with an adapter to change one end to a mini display port connector. Although it makes more sense just to buy a cable for a mini display port. Or you could get a newer IMac and have to get a completely different type of cable. :)

Question:Is this cable DisplayPort 1.4 compliant?
Answer:This is a version DP 1.4 cable and it will support 144Hz at 4k resolution and I believe it support up to 240Hz at lower resolutions.

Question:Can this dp cable be connected to my laptop?
Answer:Sure. This DP cable can be connected to a laptop. This DP Cable is Compatible with any desktop/laptop/HDTV/monitor/display equipped with DP interface.

Question:Can I use an extension cable?
Answer:Dear Customer, Thank you for your letter!
Our long displayport 1.4 cable supports 8K@60HZ display performance, but we don't recommend you to use adapter cable or extension cable, because it will lead to signal attenuation and thus can't achieve the ideal display performance, if you have this need, please contact our customer service, we will reply your question within 12 hours!

Question:Is this cable backwards compatible? Will it work out of DisplayPort 1.2?
Answer:Yes, 2.1 HDMI cables are backwards compatible with 1.2 HDMI cables. The only difference is, 1.2 HDMI cables are not capable of sending the same amount of information that a 2.1 HDMI can.
