I needed a way to play music and podcasts over the speakers in the car. This device is perfect for that job. It connects to Bluetooth in both the car and on the device. I used it with Kindle and it worked fine. I can now play Audible books over the Kindle and use the car's speakers. This is helpful since you can set the volume as high as it will go on your device, then use the car's speaker volume to control the volume for a comfortable listening level. You get a lot of road noise when driving, so this device allows you to get more volume than you can get from a phone, Kindle, or tablet.
The setup process is easy. You plug it into the car's cigarette lighter plug. Then, you find it over Bluetooth and connect to your device. You tune both this transmitter and your car radio to a blank FM station. Then, you can play whatever you want from your device! The connection process was very easy and only took a couple minutes. Once you have connected, the next time you use it, it remembers your connection.
I also liked the rim of this lighting up in rainbow colors. You can change the colors, but it looks pretty when lit up, especially when driving at night. The lights can also be shut off if you don't like it. There are also charging ports included so you can plug in your devices to charge them via the 12 volt connection. There is a USB-C and a USB-A port on top.
It also has a useful hands-free phone option. There is a microphone on the device that you can use to make hands-free calls with. You can play music from a TF card if you prefer to do that.
All-in-all, it is a useful device to have in your car. It's great for long trips because you can just play your entire playlist!
