I have a couple of Wyze Outdoor cams in my backyard. Bright white, they stood out more than I'd like, so I bought these black covers. I'm really happy with how much more difficult it is to spot the cameras now--two thumbs up on this front.
On the weather protection front, well, not so good. After a recent rain, I brought my cams in to charge the batteries, and both were soaked, with water trapped between the protective cover and the surface of the camera itself. These are clearly not meant to be completely-weatherproof, since the opening for the camera lens is not protected, and there are openings for the lights and charging port. So I'm not dinging these too much for that.
So--good to make your white camera less obvious. But not good for sealing your camera from the elements. I'm happy with my purchase though, and recommend you give these a shot if your expectations are in line with what they deliver. |
