Answer: | It cannot communicate directly with those strobes, but using our FJ-XR receiver, you can trigger any 3rd party strobe with a 3.5mm input like the ones you mentioned. Answer: | It is a Wescott not a Nikon so no. I use mine with Wescott flashes and love it. I have the Fj80 and two of the 400 watt sec flashes. |

Question: | I tried updating fj-x2m trigger to the firmware to the 1.0.8 but when i plug the usb to my compute nothing popped up? how can i fix this? |
Answer: | With the power off on the FJ-X2m, hold down the top right button while making the connection to your computer. The red light on top of the trigger will turn on, yet the trigger itself will stay powered off. It will then show up as a drive on your computer and you can drag the .bin file onto the trigger. Call customer service if you have any other questions.

Question: | I received my trigger but no sony adapter (which i ordered). was there a firmware update for sony? |
Answer: | This is the listing for the trigger only. It will work with Sony cameras in Manual mode as-is. If you wish to shoot in TTL and HSS on a Sony, you will need the adaptor.
