I love these lights, they connect to and I can control them with my phone, both at the same time. They come with tons of presets and I can't even describe how bright these get. Even with the diffuser I can't in good conscious tell anyone to look directly at them at full brightness, THEY ARE NICE AND BRIGHT.
My only complaint was how they got to me, the first arrived fine and the second one had to arrive late. I'm ok with the other arriving late, the nice lady told me via email what was going on and kept me updated constantly and had a really nice attitude about the whole thing.
When the second light arrived the box was bent and ripped, making me think this was opened already not "new" as advertised or the mail people mishandled it. I really don't think it was the fault of the buyer though. Luckily the light was just fine, no damage and it looked like no one had used it and all the features worked just like the pristine one.

I like everything about this Aputure Amaran Mc lighting fixture. These little lights are worth their weight in gold! The lighting quality is phenomenal and I really like the form factor. The build quality is great; this is a very well thought out and designed fixture. I like the soft rubber "soft box" concept and the included nylon zippered case is great for tossing into your camera back. Linking with the Sidus Link app is a little challenging to figure out at first - do yourself a favor and just go to the Sidus Link YouTube page and watch the setup video. It will all become clear. Once you've got your fixtures linked to Sidus Link, the amount of control that you have over your lighting is fantastic! I was very pleasantly surprised when I received this fixture and set it up for the first time.
