Easy to Setup, Good Build Quality
Very easy to assemble and good build quality on the materials. This is important for both time and longevity. I have personally seen a cheap grid disintegrate into dust after a few years. When setting up a light modifier, simpler the better- less time wasted. Opening this is just a matter of clicking the rods into their extended position. A lever type switch on the back releases each rod to collapse and store. Velcro attaches the inner reflector at 4 points with larger sized strips than necessary at the ends to accommodate for eventual stretching of the elastic/fabric. Good foresight.
Diffuser attaches easily with Velcro. Same with grid.
Some ideas for use: Areas too small for larger soft-boxes, smaller products, accent/hair light.

This is good along with the 120d ii. I used it for night filming, but i was told the bigger light dome ii is brighter. I got the mini to save space, but i will also get the bigger light dome ii when they get in stock. If you are looking to film in tight spots this is perfect for you.

This is only the light modifier, no light or stand is included. This modifier takes the Bowens mount which will fit on many lights including the Aputure 120DII/300DII/300XV and the Nanlite Forza 200/300/500.
