BOIL TO FIT!!
I was happy to purchase these as they are far more reasonably priced than other listings I found. I soaked/washed them immediately and was eager to try them as soon as they arrived. (Note they were in a plain plastic zip loc, nothing showing company name or anything.) Unfortunately, they were SO TIGHT, I couldn't get them on, even while leaning on them full weight. I planned to return them, but decided to try boiling them first. While still a bit warm, they slip onto the bottles much easier and form to the bottle necks as they cool. Removing the caps is also easy. (SEE VIDEO.) I have no idea yet if they will leak when stored horizontally because I usually store them upright, but I will update this review if they do.

Use the straight side of a butter knife, grip the neck of the bottle with your hand, place the butter knife between the bottom of the cap and your knuckle, pry the cap up and off it pops.. It will not hurt your hand and it will not ruin the cap

These caps are water tight and don't leak. They're not screw on caps. I think that storing the bottles sideways is not their intended use. So if they did leak it would be from user error.
