PadPucks are worth their weight in GOLD & Made in USA :)

I know what you're thinking..."$15.00 for 4 little rubber pads?" I thought the same thing, and let me tell you, I was wrong. These things are worth their weight in gold. After putting these under my drawing board, I no longer have neck & back strain from looking down at a flat drawing surface. I also use them under my light box. Another thing that I appreciate is that they are stackable, so I can raise or lower working surface to suit my needs. The Artograph PadPucks are made of a grippy black vinyl (not rubber) that is washable, so if they get fouled up with dust or debris, you can simply through them in the sink and wash them with mild soap and water...voila! like new again. I would think they'd work perfectly to incline a notebook computer, a book or any other flat bottom surface that you might want to place them under. My art desk has a plastic textured surface, and the pucks grip just fine, and I can even allow the bottom edge of my drawing board to hang off the edge of the table a few inches with no slippage at all from the PadPucks. This product is Made in the USA, and is of the highest quality. I would definitely purchase these again, and I'd highly recommend them to others; especially if you suffer from neck & back pain as I do. Great product Artograph! A+++

The Best

These pucks are just right. Much bigger than I'd expected, but the bigger size turned out to be better. I got them to use with my light box pad to put it at a comfortable working angle and reduce glare. The height of the pucks (I put three underneath along the top of the light box pad) was just right to accomplish this.

Found them also useful to put under books to angle them, laptop computers, my husband uses them to lean his pad against, prop my iPhone and iPod, prop up items I'm drawing or painting, by drawing board, items that I'm crafting... lots and lots of uses. I think I'm going to have to get some more so Hubby will quit stealing mine!!!

Well designed compliment to an Artograph Light Box

These pucks are an excellent compliment to the Light Pad. I use two stacked in the back and the 1/4" plastic bumpers that come with the Light Pad in the front. This enables the Light Pad to be used at what I consider to be a prefect angle. I have a full sized professional drafting table but I will be using this Light Pad as a drawing table at my computer turning the light off when not using it as a lightbox. The Artograph 930 model fits perfectly in front of the keyboard which rests right under my ACD. The whole arrangement is also quiet in that I can move the Light Pad aside and the contacts are all soft plastic / rubbery. The material in which these pucks are constructed of does not appear to pose any danger to my desk top. It just makes the whole experience that much more practical.

They are sturdy and give a very firm base for the light ...

I use these with my Huion light box and they are really helpful. At times, according to how my wrist is feeling, I either use a single puck on each corner of the back of the light box, or two stacked together. They are sturdy and give a very firm base for the light box. Because of the material they are made of, a dense sort of rubbery material, they neither slip on the desk nor on the back surface of the box. I am very pleased I decided to get them and am extremely happy with how they enhance my use of the light pad by allowing me to work at different angles which helps my posture and wrists.

Used these for years. They are great!

I've had a set of 4 of these guys for years (10? 12?). I love them! They are extremely sturdy and stack well. They do not slip or leave marks, nor have they deteriorated in any way.
I primarily use them to elevate one end of my drawing board. I have also used all 4 of them under the corners of a wooden board that I painted a base coat on. I'm quite sure that they would do a good, safe job at elevating a light box, which is what they are being marketed for these days.
I'm buying a second set to use on more than one project at a time.

Love these!

I love these! I was a little worried that the plastic was going to be too hard and my drawing board would slip but after using them for a couple projects they work great. They hold my drawing board without slippage. It’s so nice to draw at an angle and give my neck a rest.

Well made, easy to use, and they give my light-pad a dependable support

I'm using these puck supports under my light-pad. They work well, are made well, and are actually fun to use. They come in a soft net draw-string bag for storage, but I just store mine stacked as they are designed to do. The material is heavy and precisely formed. If you need to elevate your light-pad, they are a great solution. Once you've set the pucks in place, they stay there, and so does the light-pad. They are substantial enough to last a very long time.

Works for lightpad and also to prop up a board for painting in watercolor class.

Our watercolor class instructor wanted us to get an easel to use to tilt our watercolor paintings to let the water flow. Easels can be large, heavy and bulky. I was looking for a smaller, lighter weight and portable solution. The pucks did the trick perfectly. Everyone wanted to know where to get them, including the instructor. These are very well made and made in USA.

I was a bit unsure how useful these would truly be

I was a bit unsure how useful these would truly be, but honestly they're a game changer. No weird at-home architecture skills necessary to get your light pad at the exact angle you're looking for. While they're certainly nothing fancy, they do the trick (quite well).

Love these.

I love these. I use them when I’m doing watercolor paintings. They hold nicely to a plastic board. I originally purchased for use with a light box but I’m finding many other uses for them.

Question & Answer

Question :

how tall is each puck? what kind of an angle can you get on a drawing board with these?

Answer :

Each puck is 2" tall. They stack and for together in groves. Two stacked is 3". So whatever angle that makes. Four stacked would be 5".

Question :

How do you use these?

Answer :

They are used to prop up one side of a painting, while you're painting. Particularly useful in watercolor if you want the paint to flow down at an angle. Can be used in place of a table easel.

Question :

how tall is each puck? what kind of an angle can you get on a drawing board with these?

Answer :

Each puck is 2.25 inches high. I use them with a light board and only put one on each upper corner and that is a good angle for my use.

Question :

Can you remove them and reapply them when a flat vs angled surface is needed?

Answer :

We just set them on a table or desk or whatever flat surface we are using and then place the top edge of the light box onto them. We do use them as self adhesive as they are useful for other purposes, to prop up items slightly whether that be for sketching, painting, reading, etc. Very solid items.

Question :

Would these work with the artograph pro1200?

Answer :

Yes they would.

Question :

I have a huion l4s light pad, which is ultra thin-does anyone use these padpucks with this lightpad? any concerns or tips?

Answer :

I'm a Quilt Rep. & teacher I use these pucks with my LightPad® 940 Light Box 12 X 17 inches. The pucks are great when I have someone that needs to sit while tracing. They hold the light pad steady and work great...! Love them...!
