The 72mm B+W UV-Haze XS-Pro filter that I purchased for $52.99 was sold by and shipped from Amazon. The packaging and storage box match the appearance of the genuine B+W product. The filter, itself, appears to be labeled correctly, with the correct fonts and color. The filter ring appears to be brass and the filter glass and MRC coatings look flawless.

I don't have much experience with many other filters to really compare this to others. However I can speak on the fact that this filter truly has some great features. First of all the quality is impressive, for something so small and light you would think it would feel weak in your hands. This feels firm there is no give, its really a quality product. Continuing on, the fact that it is so thin allows it to not vignette the lens on wider angles. I filter I replaced this with caused just that. I also am impressed with the nano coating because shooting during the rain I could wipe it off and wouldn't see a trace of a smudge from my saturated lens wipe. Also researching other thin filters to prevent the vignetting I so dreaded to have again I learned that this one could have another filter attached to it. I haven't used another filter with it but I am sure happy about having the option. I feel this purchase was definitely worth the premium price tag that deterred me initially.

These are excellent filters. Under the very harshest, highest contrast, bright lights (stage lighting), I have seem some ghosting, but under 99% of shooting conditions, I never see any artifacts in my images. The Nano-MRC coating is indeed very easy to clean, I have an F-Pro filter from B+W, with the MRC coating and is is not as easy to clean and seems to attract more grime. The filter is physically thin, which reduces/eliminates vignetting at 24mm on Full Frame. One should always use a filter, and a good one. Even if one uses a cheap lens, if you crack or damage the front element while on a shoot, you're done until it's fixed; with a filter, even if it breaks, I can remove it and keep shooting.

More specs on the lens would be helpful but if the lens is the Sigma 210101 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM as listed on Amazon then it should work with the 72mm filter, lens hoods usually fit over the lens and screw on the outside to allow for filters to be screwed on. If I'm not mistaken this lens does not have a bulbous front so it should not interfere with any lens filters. Hope this helps.
